Darkness in a heavily wooded area. A flash of lightning and we a clearing with a LEGACY ring in the center of it. We hear the guitar and drum opening of 30 Seconds to Mars' "This Is War". Time speeds up and dawn begins to break, a heavy fog hangs low. We begin to circle through the forest, seeing countless foxholes, and LEGACY's brightest hunkered down in army gear. We see John Thomas' foxhole, Laura and Harrison Saunders inside. Kenji speaking with Issac and someone in a gas mask. He pulls the gas mask up and reveals that its Chivalric, and finally Kidd huddled with Greyson and Hazard. "A warning to the people, The good and the evil, A shot of CB's foxhole with Trey and Cade. Across the forest we see X-Calibur and Loco's foxhole with Rawlings and a man who's face is masked with a camoflaged ski mask. "This...is...war." The men in all of their let out a scream and leap from their foxholes running full speed, a scene straight out of Band of Brothers as we follow army boots across dirt, heading to battle. "To the soldier, the civilian, The martyr, the victim," Tres Bien are laying in the high grass. Shinya talking to Maya who has a sniper rifle up to his eye. Shinya talking to Maya, relaxing him, educating him... Maya's finger slowly pulls the trigger. "This...is...war." The bullet flies out of the gun and zooms through a field to a far off target, it flies by Frank Garvin who is rocking, wrapping his army helmet in duck tape before hitting target with a picture of VIP on it. "It's the moment of truth, and the moment to lie, The moment to live and the moment to die," Dan Stein leaning cockily in a foxhole, his helmet slouched down over his face... he slowly pushes the helmet to the top of his head and reveals a pissed off scowl. "The moment to fight, the moment to fight To fight, to fight, to fight!" Explosions start going off in the wooded area. Dirt and pieces of tree are sent flying. "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" We see Crazy Boy running towards the ring, explosions going off around him. His eyes focused on something, despite the chaos literally erupting around him "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world From the last to the first" John Thomas, dressed very much like Patton, is sitting with his team in front of a huge picture of a ring, covered with X's and O's and lines showing offensive and defensive maneuvers. "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" Domination is getting their orders from Trent Logan. They nod, before heading out to the battlefield. "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world It's a brave new world!" El Chupacabra each take a hand grenade off their vests they pop the pin. pause. Hurl the grenades. "A warning to the prophet, The liar, the honest," A shot of Greyson Blade crawling on his belly. Stephen Rawlings running and leaping into a foxhole as an explosion goes off nearby. "This is war." "To the leader, the pariah, The victor, the messiah," Loco Martinez and X-Calibur laughing over some no good scheme they cooked up. Issac laughing as he unleashes hell with a machine gun on a tripod. Laura Seton is deftly running through the forest. Dodging trees, and showing her athleticism. Becomes Patrick Kidd running. An explosion right in front of him. We whirl around, and he is back ot his feet. Dusts himself off and keeps going. "This is war." Matthew Dawson sits in a fox hole. He pulls his dog chain tag out, on it, the two Tao of Valor tokens he's collected. He gives them a kiss, before tucking them back into his shirt. Grabs a gun, fastens a bayonette to it and charges into the fray. "It's the moment of truth, and the moment to lie, The moment to live and the moment to die," Paul Saunders Jr. is sitting at a table that is covered with a map there talking to Boyd and Paul Sr. "The moment to fight, the moment to fight, To fight, to fight, to fight!" We move forward quickly. Dawn becomes day, becomes night as we see bodies scurrying around. Explosions occasionally rocking the soil and trees, and lighting up the night time in the forest, and when they do go off we see LEGACY action inside the ring: "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" Loco and Laura exchanging lefts and rights. "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world From the last to the first" Crazy Boy dropping an opponent with Crazy Airlines, Destination: Samoa. "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" X-Calibur and Issac standing eye to eye. "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world" Tres Bien hoisting their newly won Tag Titles. Crazy Boy drops Chivalric with a nice drop kick. "It's a brave new world It's a brave new world!" Rawlings launches an opponent with an overhead throw. "I do believe in the light Raise your hands into the sky" Dan Stein nailing an opponent with the "Lights Out". "The fight is done, the war is won Lift your hands toward the sun" Dawson grabs the Tao of Valor from the Ultimate X and falls to the mat below. "Toward the sun Toward the sun" The night ends, and the explosions and flashes subside. Once again the dawn breaks. "Toward the sun The war is won" The music explodes and we spin dizzyingly around the battle field. "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" Hazard steps over some bodies and heads towards clearing. The Masked Man hoists a bazooka to his shoulder, John Thomas in his sites. "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world From the last to the first" We begin flashing through each of the foxholes. El Chupacabra. Domination. Paul Saunders Jr. Dan Stein. Frank Garvin with the No Limits. Dawson with the Tao of Valor "To the right, To the left We will fight to the death!" Tres Bien with their Tag Titles. "To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world" A shot of Crazy Boy, Trey and Cade. Loco, X-Calibur, Rawlings, and the Mystery Partner. "It's a brave new world It's a brave new world!" Kenji, Issac, and Chivalric. John Thomas, Laura, and Harrison Saunders. Patrick Kidd. Greyson Blade. Hazard. "A brave new world The war is won" The shots becomes frantic and chaotic as we spin from foxhole to foxhole. Eyes eagerly looking towards the clearing and the LEGACY ring. For a beat... and then everyone leaps from their foxholes and begins running towards the ring. "The war is won A brave new world" And as all of Legacy's finest get to the ring we get a brilliant white flash. The flash fades away revealing the view live from inside the arena and the announce team.

Alan Ducard: Ladies and gentlemen, our next match is going to be huge as Matthew Dawson defends the ToV Title against Paul Saunders Jr. Jimmy Yates: Everything is on the line in this one for Dawson - the ToV Title, and the fourth and final token he needs for a LEGACY World Title shot. Bryan Harris: It's a name game tonight Jimbo - if Dawson wins, his name will forever be immortalized and linked with the ToV title. If he loses, Paul Jr. will have made a name for himself as the man who stopped the Highlight of the Night, and putting LEGACY on notice that the Saunders Family means business. Alan Ducard: It's going to be a good one gents, and let's turn this over to Josephina Colbert for introductions shall we? Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen our next match is a Last Man Standing Match for the ToV Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from all around the globe and weighing in at 247 pounds he is Paul Saunders Jr.! "Breathe" by Fabolous plays as Paul Jr. makes his way towards the ring. He looks focused and there is a confidence in his step as the crowd give him a rather positive reaction. Jimmy Yates: Well, the challenger sure looks confident and ready to go. Bryan Harris: He does Jimbo, but I'm not sure I'd be that confident going up against The Elite One, especially with the roll he's been on lately. Jimmy Yates: Well we are going to find out if Paul Jr. has a reason to be confident in just a few minutes here Bryan. Paul Jr. steps through the ropes, and raises his arms to the crowd momentarily before falling back to a corner, awaiting his opponent. Josephina Colbert: Now introducing his opponent, hailing from Valley Forge, PA, and weighing in tonight at 237 pounds, he is the reigning ToV Champion ... "The Highlight of the Night" Matthew Dawson! It's then that the LEGACY Vision tron comes to life and it displays in sequence: TAP, 30, X. With each word is a highlight clip of the Dawson victory associated with each success. Finally, it stops on "LMS" for Last Man Standing, and with that the arena is bathed in darkness. There is an explosion of golden pyro, and the opening of "Voodoo Problems" blasts through the arena, and a solitary spotlight shines on the ToV Champion as he appears at the entrance walkway with the gold around his waist. Bryan Harris: I love it. With that spotlight all eyes are where they ought to be, on the ToV Champion. Jimmy Yates: I'm kind of surprised this isn't as over the top as his last entrance at LEGACY XV. Bryan Harris: I'm sure tonight he's saving the theatrics for the ring - besides, I'm sure he's anxious to win that fourth token. No need to draw it out with his usual showmanship. Dawson heads to the ring in the spotlight and once there, he motions for Josephina to come to the ropes, and forces her to open the ring ropes for him to enter, drawing a lot of jeers from the crowd, that only grow as Dawson then poses with the belt on the buckles before his music stops and the bell is turned over to the official to make its way out of the ring. Finally the moment as arrived. Alan Ducard: There's the bell gents, and this match is officially underway. Both fighters now commit to the center of the ring, and Dawson reverses out of the collar and elbow tie-up into a headlock. Paul Jr. tries but pulls up short as Dawson continues to work the hold. Paul Jr. now tries again and he sends Dawson off to the ropes and catches him with the hip toss on the return. Dawson is back up quickly, but Paul Jr. is there with another hip toss! Dawson is back to his feet now but is no hurry to rush in again as he backs off to clear his head. Bryan Harris: Smart move by Dawson here, looking to kill Saunders' momentum before it can really build. Alan Ducard: Dawson circling around Paul Jr. once again, and there's another tie-up, and this time its Paul Jr. who transitions to a headlock, but Dawson immediately shifts and takes Saunders up and over to the canvas with the belly to back suplex! Dawson is up now and off the ropes, and he drives the knee into the skull with that textbook knee drop. Jimmy Yates: Dawson is moving quickly here, and he's going to have to use that speed and perhaps some strength/leverage advantage if he wants to be successful since Paul Jr. has a reach and advantage in technique. Dawson quickly brings Paul Jr. back to a vertical base, and fires off a quick punch/chop/punch combination, opening Paul up for a kick to the midsection. Having him doubled over, Dawson quickly clutches and spins, driving Paul into the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker. After completing the neckbreaker, Dawson comes off the ropes quickly and hits a driving elbow down to the skull and as Paul Jr. rolls away from the blow The Highlight of the Night pulls him into a front facelock. Bryan Harris: It looks like Dawson is really attacking the head and neck in the hopes of perhaps KO'ing Paul Jr. for the win later in this contest. Jimmy Yates: Well a knockout blow or high impact move would be more of Dawson's style than just straight up submission wrestling, so it's a smart move on his part and playing to his strengths. Bryan Harris: Let's not forget though he does have a "Tap"
token to his credit - in fact it's how he won the belt. Dawson breaks the hold at the count of four as to not risk losing his opportunity for the fourth ToV token. The break is surprisingly clean, but Dawson charges in rapidly. However, Paul Jr. sidesteps and drives an elbow into Dawson's jaw, knocking Dawson back and spinning him around. Saunders then goes low, diving at Dawson's legs and hitting a chop block, taking Dawson painfully to the canvas. Jimmy Yates: It looks like Paul Jr. has turned the tide in this one and he's going to work on the legs. Bryan Harris: It is a Last Man Standing match Jimbo - STANDING being a key word. If Dawson has a bad wheel he might be offensively neutralized and unable to answer the ten count. Alan Ducard: Dawson is down already trying to protect the leg, but Paul Jr. is on him stomping and kicking at the leg again and again, and The Highlight of the Night can only escape by rolling under the bottom rope. Bryan Harris: Jr. had some ferocity behind that assault Jimbo. Jimmy Yates: Well the ToV Title is on the line, and maybe, just maybe, he didn't appreciate Dawson's comments about his intelligence in the GOH promotional videos. Paul Jr. backs off the assault as Dawson separates himself from the ropes, but is immediately on the attack again, hooking the targeted leg and taking The Highlight of the Night up and over with a release fisherman's suplex. Jimmy Yates: Even with the suplex, Paul Jr. is really targeting the
leg, and he's right back on the attack pulling Dawson's leg up and slamming
it right down, driving the knee into the canvas. I'm starting to wonder
if perhaps The Highlight of the Night underestimated this member of
the Saunders clan. Alan Ducard: That may very well be the case Bryan, but right now Paul Jr. is still on the offensive, and things are not looking so rosy for The Highlight of the Night. Paul Jr. now pulling Dawson up to a vertical position and he V's the leg, takes him up, and delivers a knee breaker on the ToV Champion! Jimmy Yates: Dawson is clutching at that leg now Ducard. The challenger is doing a good job in hobbling the Champion. Bryan Harris: Maybe so, but The Highlight of the Night is still better on one good wheel than most of this roster on two! Following the kneebreaker, Paul Jr. moves in on Dawson, grabbing the leg and he pulls back and tries to sit to put The Highlight of the Night in a single-leg crab on that targeted leg, but Dawson immediately lurches forward to the ropes to save the leg. Dawson manages to get back to his feet, but Paul Jr. meets him with a European uppercut, and then sends him off with the Irish whip. On the rebound, Paul Jr. goes low looking for the back body drop, but Dawson pulls up and blasts him with a kick to the jaw, stunning him and standing him up straight. The ToV Champion then steps in and hits an inverted atomic drop on the good leg, and flows seamlessly into a DDT that almost takes Paul Jr. perpendicular to the canvas on impact. Alan Ducard: That was a devastating DDT! The Champion caught Paul Jr. telegraphing his move, and he made him pay for it with that beautiful combination counter. The Highlight of the Night backs off just a pit and he's messaging the muscles in that injured leg, trying to undo some of the damage inflicted by the challenger while taking the time to deliver a few good stomps to the skull. Bryan Harris: He doesn't want to lose the advantage, but he's balancing that with recovery, and that's the sign of a smart fighter. After a series of well-placed kicks and stomps, The Highlight of the Night stops recuperating and goes fully on the attack. Pulling Paul Jr. back to his feet, he sends him off with the Irish whip. On the rebound he snares Paul Jr. and takes him up and over with a big exploder suplex, dead center in the middle of the ring. Dawson then heads for the corner and begins the climb to the top buckles. Alan Ducard: The Highlight of the Night is up on the top rope and he's looking to take a big risk here. Bryan Harris: You don't get to be a highlight without taking a few risks Ducard! Jimmy Yates: Holy Cow! Alan Ducard: Matthew Dawson gets amazing air and he connects with a huge frog splash! He just crushed Paul Jr. into the canvas, and now he's up and asking for the count. ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE At the count of five, Paul Jr. gets back to his feet. Jimmy Yates: It looks like this match will continue. Bryan Harris: Of course it is Jimbo, you can never tell with these 10 counts, especially early on if a guy is simply using the time to try and get a few more seconds to recuperate of if a fall is really in play ... although it may not after THAT move! Alan Ducard: We've seen that from Dawson previous to pick up pinfalls. He executes it like a lung blower but the knees go right into his opponents neck and skull, and he just drilled the challenger after an Irish whip staggered him back out of the buckles! Jimmy Yates: Dawson is asking for another count here to try and get that fourth ToV token! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN At seven all of Paul Jr.'s effort pays off as he makes his feet to continue the fight for the ToV championship and for his family's pride. Alan Ducard: The gold and tokens are still in play as the challenger is back to his feet, but here comes Dawson off the ropes and he takes to the air with a big clothesline to take Paul Jr. off his feet! Jimmy Yates: Dawson is really getting some amazing air on his moves here tonight. He must have put a little extra into the training for this match with what's at stake for him in this contest. Bryan Harris: He is the Highlight of the Night, there's no way he's going to disappoint on a stage as grand as this one. Alan Ducard: Dawson brings Paul Jr. back to a vertical base and he hooks him for the vertical suplex, but the challenger blocks. He blocks again, and he hammers Dawson with the free hand, knocking him back! Dawson with the kick, but Paul Jr. catches the foot and ducks the enziguri follow through! There's the anklelock! Paul Jr. has Dawson in an anklelock! Jimmy Yates: He's going back to working on the legs, and he has Dawson in a bad way here. It is locked on tight! Paul Jr. caught him and Dawson is clawing at the canvas in agony, and these fans are really getting behind Paul Jr. for making Dawson suffer. Bryan Harris: It's because they are just jealous that they aren't in the same class as The Elite One. Instead of recognizing his greatness they just want to see him fall to their level. Alan Ducard: Dawson is trying to get to the ring ropes to end the pain. It really is his only hope now that Paul Jr. has dropped to grapevine the leg. Tapping will do him no good. The Highlight of the Night fights for all he's worth clawing at the canvas, dragging himself and Paul Jr. to the ropes. Finally, he does make it, wrapping his right hand around the bottom rope, forcing the challenger to break the hold. Alan Ducard: The hold is broken and the Champion is free, and he's trying to stand up, using the ropes, but Paul Jr. is right back on him lifting him up and dropping him throat first across the buckles! Dawson staggers off clutching his throat, his legs wobbling, and Paul Jr. comes off the second buckle with a flying European uppercut! The Champion is down! Paul Jr. moves back away from Dawson, sizing him up, and when the Champion attempts to push himself off the canvas, the challenger charges, and proceeds to turn the lights out with a huge knee to the face, sending Dawson back to the canvas with a thud, and the count begins. ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX At six, Dawson begins pushing back to his feet, but Paul Jr. is already there to meet him sending him off to the turnbuckles with hard Irish whip. The challenger then follows the Champion in with the knee lift in the corner. With Dawson stunned, Paul takes him up the buckles. Alan Ducard: Paul Jr. sits Dawson on the top rope facing the crowd and now he's following the Champion up and he delivers a super belly to back suplex! Dawson hits the canvas all the way from the top rope and he's down! Jimmy Yates: We've got another count coming! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN Seven is where the count stops as the Champion has some fight left in him. Dawson is rocked by a right hand and then a left before being lifted and driven into the canvas with the sidewalk slam. It's then that Paul Jr. heads to the top rope. Alan Ducard: Paul Jr. is on the top rope and is zeroing on Matthew Dawson as the Champion is trying to get to his feet and ... what a reversal by The Highlight of the Night. Bryan Harris: That was a thing of beauty Ducard. We might have to see a replay of this. Paul Jr. tries the missile dropkick off the top rope, but Dawson side steps and hooks him, driving him into his good knee with a vicious looking backbreaker! Jimmy Yates: The high risk didn't pay off for Paul Jr. in that instance, and Dawson is pulling Paul Jr. up to his feet, and there's a double underhook into a backbreaker! A second backbreaker has the challenger at the Champion's mercy. With Paul Jr. writhing in pain on the canvas, Dawson takes a moment and looks to the fans who are already jeering him, to point to the top rope, letting them know what was to come, which only stirred them up even more. Bryan Harris: He's signaling for it - It's Ultimate Highlight Time! Get your cameras ready boys. Alan Ducard: Matthew Dawson has Paul Jr. scooped up, and he's climbing the buckles. He slips, but he catches himself and they keep going ... Dawson at the top rope and ... his leg buckles! Both men crash off the top rope to the canvas below with Paul Jr. slamming into the Champion! Jimmy Yates: It looks like those leg attacks are really paying off from Paul Jr. He could have been just another victim of Dawson's championship reign, but instead he is back in control. After landing, Paul Jr. slips out of the ring, and he pulls Dawson back to the buckles, and taking the injured leg, he slams it into the post not once, but multiple times as the crowd cheers him to continue. Dawson is in agony with each meeting of flesh and steel, and Paul Jr. finally wraps the legs for a ringpost figure four, only breaking the hold for the five count. Jimmy Yates: The fans are really getting behind Paul Jr.'s mean streak in this one. This isn't a hardcore match, but no one said you couldn't use what's at your disposal in the ring, and he's making the most of it. Alan Ducard: He's done a superb job of working that leg, and now the challenger is headed back into the ring, and he pulls the Champion up and out of the corner, and there's another release fisherman's suplex out of the corner! Paul Jr. brings Dawson back up to a vertical base and there's the Irish whip and Dawson stumbles and slides into the ropes! Paul Jr. charges in and ... Dawson hits a back body drop and sends the challenger over the top rope to the arena floor! Bryan Harris: Let the brawling begin! Dawson is slow getting to the outside, but he still manages to arrive before Paul Jr. is recovered. Bringing Paul Jr. to his feet, Dawson slams him into the barricade, and then sends him head long into the ringsteps, dislodging them. Dawson makes his way then as fast as he can to where Paul Jr. is clutching his neck in pain after the collision with the steps. The Highlight of the Night then pulls the challenger to his feet, and slams him head first into the ring post. Blood begins to seep from a gash in Paul Jr.'s forehead as he falls to his knees, slumped against the apron. Alan Ducard: The Highlight of the Night is really showing he has some brawling ability here, using the ring to his advantage. He has Paul Jr. bleeding and in some serious trouble. Jimmy Yates: What is Dawson trying to do now? Bryan Harris: He's liberating the concrete ... aka removing the floor padding. Dawson pulls a bloodied Paul Jr. to him and shifts him into a standing headscissors. Dawson's expression is full of bad intentions as he positions the challenger to piledrive him into the concrete. However, as he lifts Paul Jr., the challenger puts the breaks on and heaves Dawson up as if for a back drop, but he holds him up, turns, and delivers a modified Alabama slam to the Champion on the concrete! Jimmy Yates: Paul Jr. reverses! The Highlight of the Night is introduced to the concrete, and now Paul Jr. has the Champion up and he rolls Dawson back inside the ring. Paul Jr. now with a running start and a vicious kick to the skull as Dawson is laying with his head and shoulders out beyond the apron! The challenger is back inside and is getting the count! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN Not yet. Dawson manages to use the ring ropes to pull himself up to his feet, but as soon as he's up, Paul Jr. rocks him with a huge left hook. Dawson staggers and Paul Jr. pulls him close to the ropes as he exits. He pulls Dawson through the ropes hanging in a DDT position, and a moment later Dawson's skull meets the elevated entrance ramp. Alan Ducard: A huge impact DDT on the Champion! He's down and Paul pushes him back in the ring as he enters as well. We get another count! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT His head is pounding and he's in a bad way, but Dawson survives to continue fighting. Paul Jr.'s face is starting to show a bit of frustration under the blood, and he drags Dawson into the middle of the ring, and he begins dropping elbows on the injured leg. Again and again he drops, doing his best to smash Dawson's leg to bits as the fans cheer along. Alan Ducard: Paul Jr. is looking to totally destroy that leg, and with it, end Matthew Dawson's title reign shot of his ultimate goal. Dawson is being pulled to his feet ... Paul Jr. hooks ... ROTC DROP-OUT ... NO! Dawson hammers out ... but Paul Jr. hits a flatliner! Dawson is down once more. Paul Jr. pulls Dawson to his feet, and chops him hard across the chest to drive him back, and then whips him to the turbuckles. Paul Jr. charges in but Dawson sidesteps, and as Paul Jr. hits the buckles, Dawson catches him from behind with a sick falling neckbreaker! Bryan Harris: The tide looks to have turned in this one guys - the challenger is down and Dawson is headed to the top rope. Paul Jr. is trying to get back to his feet, Dawson sizes him up and there's the top rope bulldog in the signature style of the ToV Champion! Jimmy Yates: Dawson didn't get the air he had previously in the match on that aerial move Bryan. That leg is suspect, even if he's in control. I think it may have buckled when he leapt. Alan Ducard: Dawson is makes his way to the challenger, and pulls him to his feet into the standing headscissors. He pulls Paul Jr. into the standing headscissors and he spikes him with a piledriver! Bryan Harris: Wait Ducard, Dawson isn't letting go ... he's pulling Paul Jr. back up and maintaining the headscissors. Alan Ducard: There's a second piledriver - a package piledriver to be exact! Paul Jr.'s head just bounced off the canvas, and he's down! Bryan Harris: That's it Ducard ... just give this man the token and the title shot! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT NINE NO! Unbelievably Paul Jr. makes it to his feet. He's wobbling, wearing a full crimson mask, but he stands tall as the crowd roars in approval. Now it's Dawson's face etched with frustration as he kicks Paul Jr. pulling him into another headscissors. Alan Ducard: Dawson going for the powerbomb and ... no! His knee buckled again. Paul Jr. lands right in front of him and the challenger picks the leg ... dragon screw leg whip! Dawson tries to roll to his feet, and he crashes back to his knees, and here comes Paul Jr. The challenger scoops him up by the leg and there's a big capture suplex! Jimmy Yates: He's felling it Alan ... the hook and ... ROTC DROP-OUT! (Throw into leaping knee, then wicked Russian leg sweep) HE HITS IT! Dawson isn't moving! We're gonna have a new Champion! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT NINE He made it. Just barely. But he made it. The Champion rises to beat the count. Paul Jr. charges in and Dawson viciously rakes the eyes, blinding Paul Jr. between the blood and the assault. Dawson quickly leaps up and connected with those knees to the skull once more, and he rolls away as quickly as he can. Alan Ducard: Dawson brains Paul Jr. again with those knees to the skull, but he's not asking for a count from the official? Bryan Harris: I have no idea what he's doing Ducard ... Jimmy Yates: It looks like ... he's messing with his pants leg? As Paul Jr. lies motionless on the canvas, Dawson rips at the fabric of his wrestling gear, finally tearing it away into strips on the bad leg. Once satisfied he walks out of the ring to the entranceway. Jimmy Yates: What in the world is he doing? Once on the rampway, Dawson kneels, and begins tying the strips as tight as he dares around the injured knee. Bryan Harris: He's stabilizing that injured knee as best he can ... and he's going for it. Having tied off the knee, Dawson's eyes narrow in on his target. Paul Jr. is now up to his knees, and Dawson charges to the ring in a desperate gamble. At the apron he gives all he has and spring to the top rope, and leaping off ... he catches Paul Jr.... Alan Ducard: A 720 DDT! (Twisting springboard tornado DDT) he just
spiked Paul Jr. to the canvas with a full head of steam! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT NINE TEN! The bell sounds and "Voodoo Problems" begins to blast through the arena as Dawson falls to his knees in the corner. Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and still ToV Champion .... THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT ... MATTHEW DAAAAAAAAWSON! Dawson after resting a moment, pulls himself back up on the ropes as the official hands him the belt, and he holds it up with a vast amount of pride. He's done it. Jimmy Yates: Dawson is an arrogant sob, but I will give him credit. He kept the ToV title and now has the four tokens needed for a World Title Shot, and that was a fantastic finish to a gutsy performance. Bryan Harris: You know what Jimbo, if you can recognize that, I might even recognize that Paul Jr. really impressed here tonight. He didn't stop Dawson's quest, but I wasn't expecting anything like the effort he gave tonight. He gave The Elite One a challenge. Alan Ducard: You two gents better stop now. I don't know what I'd do here if you started seeing things from the other's point-of-view. Bryan Harris: Don't count on it Ducard ... Dawson with title in hand, hobbles to the top of the rampway, and turns once more holding up the ToV title inciting the fans to boo him once more. They might hate him, but their jeers wouldn't spoil his moment. He had his World Title shot, and soon, no one could deny him his place as the greatest ToV Champion of all time.
“You’re going down” by Sick Puppies comes over the Public Address system and Cronos Diamante comes storming out from the locker room, boos reigning down heavily upon him as he makes his way to the ring. He pays absolutely no mind to the fans and enters the ring. He stands in the center of the ring staring up at the entrance with his music continuing to play until he makes the cutting motion across his neck to kill his music. Alan Ducard: Cronos is absolutely livid in his demeanor. Jimmy Yates: It's been a long time since I've seen such animosity out of Cronos, let alone anyone, in wanting to get their hands on someone so badly. Cronos swiftly paces the ring, shaking his head waiting for a sign Mirage will be coming down to the ring. After a few more moments pass, Cronos motions to ringside for a mic. Bryan Harris: Tell em' how you feel! Cronos Diamante: All right, Mirage...so this is how it's gonna be, eh? You think you're gonna get some quack psychologist to delay the inevitable here by not clearing you to wrestle?! This is Legacy. This is Glimmer of Hope! And damnit, you will not rob me of my moment. Did you forget who you're dealing with? I know your entire playbook, you son of a bitch, and like I told you at the pre-show...you WILL be coming out here tonight so I can finish what I started weeks ago… Cronos ignores the cheers and jeers coming from the crowd, focused intently on the entrance. Cronos Diamante: You tell that quack Dr. Nolan that Dr. Diamante overrides his order, and the only prescription I'm gonna write to you tonight is the final chapter in your book of mind games. Now...get...your...fucking...ass...out...here! "Forsaken by destiny...forsaken by my own mind..." As the first notes of Mirage's theme, “Resurrection” by Fear Factory hits the PA, a slight pop is heard from the crowd. Jimmy Yates: Did the crowd just cheer for Mirage?! Bryan Harris: They're just excited he's actually coming out here... Jimmy Yates: I don't know, Bry... Mirage makes a slight sweeping motion across his neck with the mic he's holding. Dressed in jean shorts and a Chicago Blackhawks Kane jersey, Mirage looks down the rampway toward Cronos. Mirage: Cronos Diamante...you stubborn son of a bitch. Cronos Diamante yells back into his mic. Cronos Diamante: It stops tonight you cowardly piece of shit! Tonight! Now quit delaying and get down here before I take this thing further than it needs to go... Mirage calmly shakes his head... Mirage: I'd love to get in that ring with you tonight, but you know I can't. The athletic commission can pull my license… Cronos Diamante: No! No! The Doctors orders are that you can't compete...but you sure as hell can get in this ring… Cronos sits between the middle and top rope, holding them open, making a sweeping motion for Mirage to get in. Mirage suddenly starts walking down toward the ring, the excitable audience immediately begins cheering. Bryan Harris: See...they just wanna see some action here, tonight! Stopping at the bottom of the rampway, Mirage shakes his head. Mirage: You'd like that, wouldn't ya, Cronos...I get in that ring and win or lose, I lose when the athletic commission pulls my license. Cronos lets out an expletive that isn't picked up and kicks the bottom rope in frustration. Cronos Diamante: FINE! Have it your way. But it ain’t gonna be that easy, Mirage…wha...uh oh...uh oh...what have we here?! Cronos points up at the jumbotron where the girl Mirage has mentioned many times in his past, Sahara, with tears streaming down her face, is bound with her hands above her head and a masked man resting his head against her. He yanks her head back by her hair and she lets out a yelp while he stares directly into the camera. Back in the ring, Cronos continues addressing Mirage. Cronos Diamante: Hey, that’s interesting! That looks just like your wife...or girlfriend...or mistress, or whatever the hell she is since nobody knows who the hell you really are. Funny story. So I see this girl backstage tonight and I think to myself...ya know, Cronos, I've seen this girl before. Where the hell have I seen this girl?! And then it hit me... that's the same chick that used to hang out back in the AODWF! Those were some fun days. Anyway, that's when I had this brilliant idea to capture her tonight and use her to get what I want. So one might say we have quite the predicament here. I got your girl, which means…I got you. Which effectively means you'll be getting in this ring, like right now. The crowd boos. Cronos Diamante: Oh shut it up! Five days ago you all wanted me to kill this son of a bitch. Now that you find out he's got a little girl at home and a wife or whatever she is and suddenly he's human?! No. This man… right here, is a piece of shit! Tonight, you're gonna pay for your sins, Marcus. So I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. In the interest of not angering the athletic commission...we aren’t gonna wrestle tonight. This draws a huge negative response from the crowd. Bryan Harris: No! Jimmy Yates: The fans didn't like that! Cronos Diamante: Shut up, idiots, and let me finish. What I have planned is infinitely better than a wrestling match. What we're gonna do is have you get up in this ring, and I suggest you do it now, or your little chicadee gets it, and believe me, my man up there on that screen is just waiting, itching in fact, to drop the hammer. A few moments go by and Sahara receives a humiliating backhand. The backhand draws out a chorus of boos. Cronos Diamante: Consider that to be a warning, Marcus…about how serious I am. Now that I got your undivided attention…were gonna play a little game. So Marcus Mirage... COME ON DOWN!!! At ringside, Mirage shakes his head and drops the mic he had in his hand. Alan Ducard: I've been following Mirage’s career for years and I've never once seen him in a predicament like this before. Bryan Harris: The student has become the master, Alan. Mirage walks up the ring apron and pulls himself up with the ropes, stepping one foot into the ring. Cronos motions him to the middle of the ring. Mirage finally steps in the ring all the way, half expecting Cronos to immediately attack. However, much to everyone’s surprise, he doesn't. Cronos Diamante: I told ya, we aren’t gonna wrestle tonight. This way nobody can say you tried to compete. This way, no laws were broken. Your face might get broken, but laws... no. Cronos laughs at his own joke. Cronos Diamante: Ok. What we're gonna do here is play a game called ‘1’ strike and she’s out. You're gonna stand in the middle of the ring...with your arms spread wide and I'm gonna get three free swings. Now, I can hit you anywhere I want aside from the groin. Your objective is to stay standing. If you falter, and even so much as touch a knee to the mat, your girl pays in blood. Alan Ducard: Oh come on...what kind of game is this?! Not to defend a guy like Mirage, but come on...involving the man’s family is just taking it too far. Bryan Harris: I don't know, this game seems very fair to me. Jimmy Yates: The crowd doesn't seem to agree, Bry. And about taking things too far…how about to a new level of low. Cronos Diamante: So ya see how that works?! A strike is called if you fall to a knee, and as the name of the game states…one strike and she’s out. You ready to play?! Mirage stands absolutely still. He doesn't nod. He doesn't even shake his head. He simply stares at his former friend for a few moments. Suddenly, Mirage raises his hands outward, waiting for what’s coming. Cronos Diamante: This one’s for all the people you fucked over, over all the years of your redundant career. Cronos approaches Mirage and gives him a sweeping haymaker to the stomach. Mirage loses his footing for a second, holding his stomach in agony. Cronos Diamante: Not bad. I didn’t expect that one to take you down though. Mirage, a bit wobbly, stands upright again, once again raises his hands outward. Cronos Diamante: This one... well, this one’s for me. Cronos reaches back and hits Mirage with a booming bare knuckled right hook to the side of the face. The power of the blow sends spit flying out of the other side of Mirage's mouth as he's thrown back into the ropes. Falling ever so close to the mat, Mirage catches the top rope, stopping himself from leaving his feet. “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” is heard from the crowd in unison. A shot to ringside reveals Alan Ducard and Jimmy Yates just shaking their heads in silence. Cronos Diamante: I can't believe you took that one. Nice job. I’m impressed. Mirage shoves himself off the ropes, a trickle of blood coming from the side of his cheek, and limps toward the center of the ring again. Finally gaining his composure, he holds his arms out for the third and final blow. Cronos Diamante: Ya know, Marcus... it's ironic that it comes to this after all these years, no? You and me? Of all the fucking people, right? Well, let's finish this. Cronos steps back and sends one of his signature kicks to the right temple of Mirage. He stumbles toward the turnbuckle and hits it hard, forcing him back toward the center of the ring where he begins to lose his footing. Cronos moves to the side as Mirage manages to get a small spring in his step to grab onto the farside ropes and pull himself back up. He shakes his head and turns around looking dead red at Cronos. The crowd actually cheers. Alan Ducard: I don’t believe it! Mirage is still standing after that kick from Cronos. Jimmy Yates: Considering Cronos is famous for those bruising kicks, so am I. And I think Cronos is too. Cronos Diamante: I’m really amazed that you’re still standing after all that. I don’t quite think I’ve seen such resilience out of you in years. You must really love her, Marcus, I’m impressed a person such as yourself could actually feel such an emotion. Cronos drops the mic almost in defeat, turns toward the crowd, then spins and waylays Mirage right in the mouth. A wave of silence washes over the arena. Blood. A Tooth. ...and Mirage falls flat on his back. Cronos right hand, covered in blood... and brass knuckles. Cronos Diamante: Did I say three shots? I do apologize, but I really meant four. Alan Ducard: Of all the low down things. Bryan Harris: Did you really expect him to keep his word? C’mon guys. This is classic Cronos and I’m loving it! Jimmy Yates: Oh please, Bryan... Mirage was one of your favorite guys for years and you think this is ok all of a sudden?! This is beyond despicable and he better not have this goon do anything to Sahara, Mirage took his three shots and stayed standing. Cronos saunters over to Mirage with a smirk on his face. He kicks him ever so slightly, nudging him back into reality. He suddenly grabs Mirage by his Blackhawks jersey and forcefully drags him to the side of the ring facing the jumbotron, snatching up the mic. Cronos Diamante: You lost Mirage, and I wouldn't want you to miss this. Cronos looks at his watch. Cronos Diamante: Actually, gonna have to wait about 15 seconds...14...13...12...11...10...9...8...7...6... 5 4 3 2 1 Cronos Diamante: Here it comes… The camera zooms out to show Sahara’s full body in a skimpy nightgown, bound at her hands, hanging from a hook in what appears to be some sort of abandoned warehouse. Cronos Diamante steps through the ropes and drops down to ringside, beginning the walk toward the entrance when the masked man ties a noose around Sahara’s neck. He tightens it and throws it over a bar above him and begins to pull on the rope. Sahara’s face begins to flush red and she begins gasping for air. As her face begins to turn purple and near the pass out threshold, he let’s go of the rope and Sahara chokes on the amount of air finally being allowed into her lungs. Alan Ducard: My God…this is just too much. Masked Man: We wouldn’t want you passing out just yet, my dear. Let’s kick this into over-drive. Jimmy Yates: That voice is familiar. That isn’t… As Cronos walks toward the entrance, a few pieces of trash and an entire cup of beer hits him, splashing all over him. Cronos Diamante: You never shoulda fucked with me, Mirage. And that goes for all of you idiots, too! Cronos flips off the crowd as he continues walking away from the ringside area then looks up at the jumbotron. Cronos Diamante: Oh… and you're gonna love this even more, Marcus. As Cronos disappears behind the curtain, he exits while pointing up toward the jumbobron. On the jumbotron, the masked man steps in front of Sahara, approaching the camera while slowly removing the mask. Alan Ducard: What the hell?! Bryan Harris: It's Cronos...again! Jumbotron Cronos lets out an insane sounding laughter. Back at ringside, Mirage is laying beneath the bottom rope looking out toward the jumbotron, powerless to stop the scene unfolding before him…dried blood on his cheek, fresh blood dripping out of his mouth. Jumbotron Cronos: You indeed were the master, but my…how the mighty have fallen. Fact is, you're little chickadee here was doomed long before I crushed you in that ring. Jimmy Yates: Let it be known that on this date, Cronos Diamante became the world’s lowest, slimy-ist, piece of…crap…I've ever known in all the days I've been in this business. Jumbotron Cronos: And now…to finish the job. Cronos turns around and walks toward Sahara with a purpose and grabs her face with one hand and jerks her toward him. He smirks and lets her go and she begins swinging back and forth a little on the hook but before she can settle back into place, Cronos picks up a steel chair off-camera and nails her right in the face, spattering blood and knocking her unconscious. Jumbotron Cronos: Welcome to the magic of home video. Jumbotron Cronos begins laughing manically, uncontrollably...as he reaches toward the camera and the feed suddenly cuts. Jimmy Yates: It was all tape delay...it was all for nothing! Alan Ducard: This is, by far, one of the lowest scenes I've ever witnessed in this profession... Mirage simply closes his eyes as the EMT’s arrive at ringside.
Alan Ducard: The next match could go a long way towards determining a a number one contender to the tag titles, and could eventually face off against the winners of VIP vs. Tres Bein later tonight. Jimmy Yates: This isn't the first meeting between these two teams, they have a long history with each other, and I'm sure that will show in the ring tonight. Bryan Harris: El Chupacabra stole the tag titles from Domination during their first tag title win, what will they do tonight to get the win. In the ring we see Josephina Colbert standing in the ring ready to announce the competitors. Josephina: The following match is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first the team of Diego Cardenas and Hector Rodriguez, EL CHUPACABRA! "Oye Como Va" by Santana plays as Hector and Diego make their way across the elevated walkway towards the ring. They go to their corner and seem to be discussing their game plan for the match. Josephina Colbert: Their opponents at a combined weight of 585lbs, Rage & Venom, DOMINATION! The crowd cheers as "Fear" by Disturbed hits the speakers and Rage and Venom burst through the curtains and run down the entrance and slide into the ring. Josephina climbs out of the ring as the ref checks both teams for any foreign objects. He then signals for the bell to start the match as Rage steps out onto the apron while Diego and Hector discuss who is going to start. Jimmy Yates: We have Venom starting for Domination, and it looks like Hector will be starting for El Chupacabra as Diego gets out of the ring. Alan Ducard: Hector the only member of el Chupacabra who can deal with the strength of either member of Domination, Diego instead relying on speed. The two men lock up in the middle of the ring with a collar elbow tie-up, both men trying to gain control for a moment with no one gaining an advantage they break apart and circle each other for a second before locking up again. This time Venom gets control and pulls Hector into a side headlock. Hector tries to power out of the move grabbing Venom's hands and pulling them away, but Venom brings them right back and tightens the hold. Hector fires a elbow into Venom's gut and follows it with a second and a third until Venom breaks his grip then Hector sends him into the ropes. As Venom rebound Hector drops down and Venom jumps over him, as Venom rebounds off the other side Hector goes for a leapfrog, but Venom reaches up and grabs him out of the air and hits a spinning bodyslam. He makes the cover and the ref drops to make the count. One Before we hear the count of two Diego hops up to the top rope and jumps off with a leg drop to the back of Venom's neck breaking up the count. Alan Ducard: These two teams are picking up exactly where they left off. Neither one backing down. Jimmy Yates: Diego making the save for his partner early in this match, if he didn't this match could of been over right there. Bryan Harris: This match is far from over, Hector was just playing possum so Diego could hit the leg drop. Rage gets into the ring and goes after Diego who has slid out of the ring and Rage follows him to the outside. The ref yells at both men and tells them to go back to their corners and threatens to disqualify them if they don't. Rage reluctantly returns to his corner, meanwhile back in the ring Hector pushes the groggy Venom of of him and gets to his feet. Hector goes to make a tag, but Venom grabs his ankle and pulls him away. Venom gets to his feet and Hector goes for a spinning back kick, but Venom reaches under his leg and and spins Hector around into an inverted DDT. He makes a tag to Rage who jumps off the top rope hitting an elbow drop just as Venom hits the DDT. Venom rolls out of the ring. Rage drops to make a cover, but as soon as the refs hand hits the mat for a one count Rage hops to his feet and just as he expected Diego has hopped into the ring. Rage goes for a short arm clothesline, but Diego quickly slides back out of the ring pointing at Venom is just got in the ring. Alan Ducard: Lots of quick work here by both teams. The ref makes Venom get out of the ring and while his back is turned Hector spins Rage around and gives him an old fashioned thumb to the eye. Diego hops to the top rope and dropkicks Rage in the back of the head as Hector rolls out of the ring and claps his hands over his head so the ref hears the noise and thinks they made a legal tag. Venom smartens up and gets out of the ring before El Chupacabra can preform anymore illegal shenanigans. Jimmy Yates: El Chupacabra pulling the wool over the refs eyes to to take advantage of Domination. Bryna Harris: Not that it's very difficult, LEGACY referees aren't exactly MENSA scholars. Diego snap mares Venom to the mat and gives him a stiff kick to the back he then jumps over Venom rebounds off the ropes and hits a dropkick to the chest. He follows it up with a pin attempt. One Two Kick out with authority, Venom pushes straight up sending Diego flying a couple of feet across the ring. Alan Ducard: Venom is to his feet and it looks like business is about to pick up. Diego runs and rebounds off the ropes and hits Venom with a clothesline, but it doesn't knock him off his feet. Diego rebounds off the ropes again this time he dives through the air with a flying crossbody but Venom catches him and spins him around for a slam, but as he spins him around Diego's feet accidentally kick the ref in the face knocking him to the mat. Venom picks Diego up off the mat and tags Rage. Venom lifts Diego up into the air and they hit the devastating Orange Crush bomb/neck breaker combo. Rage goes for the cover, but the ref is still trying to shake the cobwebs loose after the kick to the face. The fans count along as Rage slaps the mat three times, but the ref is still out of it. Jimmy Yates: Domination had this match won, but the ref isn't able to make the count. Bryan Harris: Maybe Venom will be more careful next time when he's swinging people around. Rage goes over to check on the ref and Diego is able to crawl to his corner and make a tag. Hector rushes into the ring and levels Rage with a big boot to the face. He then puls Rage to his feet and goes for a suplex, but Rage blocks it and sends a knee into his gut and hits a DDT. Rage points up and tags in Venom. Alan Ducard: It looks like we could be about to see Total Domination. Venom goes up to the top rope, but just as he leaps off Hector rolls forward causing Venom to sail over him and crash to the mat. Diego rolls to his feet and tosses Rage out of the ring through the middle rope. He takes a second to rub his neck and then delivers a boot to Venom's face as he attempts to get to his feet. Jimmy Yates: Hector hits a solid boot to the jaw of Venom just like he did moments ago to Rage. Hector goes behind Venom and locks him in a dragon sleep which he turns into a dragon sleeper suplex. Hector points up and then tags Diego. Alan Ducard: Diego is on the top rope and Hector has just lifted Venom up on to his shoulders. Jimmy Yates: Is El Chupacabra about to steal Domination's signature move, Total Domination? Diego jumps off the top rope but instead of going for a top rope he wraps his legs around Venom's throat and pulls him off Hector's shoulders with a super huracanrana. Bryan Harris: Alan and Jimmy, we guys have just witnessed a spectacle that can only be described at EL CHUPACANRANA!!! Diego hooks the leg and the ref has finally shaken the cobwebs loose and crawls over to make the count. One Alan Ducard: It looks to be all over for Venom. Two Rage pulls himself up from being tossed to the outside and sees the pin attempt, but it is too late for him to make the save. Thr... The crowd erupts as Venom kicks out and the ref holds up two fingers.Rage climbs back up onto the apron and cheers on his partner. Diego gets to his feet and kicks Venom in the gut, he attempts to kick him again, but Venom grabs his foot and gets to his feet. and delivers a short arm clothesline following Diego down to the mat. Both men are down catching their breath. Diego starts towards his corner to make a tag, but Venom is to his feet and pulls him away whipping him into the turnbuckles and following it with a big splash. Jimmy Yates: Both teams are former tag team champions, and are now pulling out all the stops to try and get a win and possibly get another shot at those titles. Venom whips Diego into the ropes and goes for another clothesline, but Diego ducks. As Diego rebounds off the other side, Venom makes the tag to Rage, but Diego doesn't see it and goes for another huricanrana on Venom, but gets caught. Rage climbs to the top rope and as Venom catches Diego in the huricanrana attempt he jumps off with a stiff clothesline as Venom power bombs Diego for a modified version of the Total Domination. Rage makes the cover and the ref drops to make the three count as Hector attempts to enter the ring, but Venom blocks tackling him through the ropes to the outside. One Two Three Josephina: Here are your winners... Steve O'Reily... Ben Murdock... DOMINATION! Jimmy Yates: It was a hard fought match, but in the end El Chupacabra got dominated. Bryan Harris: You were hoping you'd get to use that lame line weren't you. The ref raises the arms of Rage and Venom to signify their victory and the crowd cheers. The team of Domination then exits the ring and starts to make their way to the back as Hector climbs back into the ring as Diego gets to his feet and asks for a mic. Alan Ducard: It looks like Diego has something to say. Diego de Cardenas - We told you that we wanted to have another battle against the two of you for old times sake, and I think these fans would agree that the match we just had... felt just like old times. Because you helped reignite the fire in el Chupacabra... Diego wipes some sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand. Diego de Cardenas - You don't have to be looking over your shoulders, peeking around corners and wondering if H-Rod and DdC are waiting for you with one weapon or another... Hector Rodriguez - The next time we want you two in this ring, and it will happen... we'll come at you like men and ask for it. The rest of LEGACY? Probably not so lucky. V.I.P.... The fans give a mixed reaction, some of whom are excited because el Chupacabra are targeting V.I.P., the others booing because they don't care about el Chupacabra but they hate V.I.P. Hector taps the side of his own leg. Hector Rodriguez - We haven't forgot about how you took me out like a bitch, and now that I'm back? No doubt, putas, you will see what el Chupacabra is all about!
