The show opens on a shot of Alan Ducard, Bryan Harris and Jimmy Yates sitting behind the announce table at the studio setup. Behind them are burgundy and black curtains with gold accents. In the middle is the large Glimmer of Hope logo. Alan Ducard: Good evening everyone and welcome to the Glimmer of Hope weekend as we kick things off here on Friday night with the pre-show. I'm your host for the evening, Alan Ducard, alongside my fellow co-hosts Jimmy Yates and Bryan Harris. Jimmy Yates: Two days from now, 48 hours away, we've got a night of action which culminates in the yearly Co-Op Challenge which will decide the currently vacant World Championship. Here tonight we've got three matches on the card and as always, we're sure that additional competitors will arrive. Bryan Harris: In between things that happen tonight, we'll be telling you more of what to expect come Sunday, and with teams having formed in the past couple of weeks off-camera, you'll have a lot to get caught up on if you don't know how things look just yet. Alan Ducard: That, and there are three championship matches on Sunday night in addition to the Co-Op Challenge, a fourth championship match happening here tonight with the F/X Network, our gracious hosts here tonight for the televised pre-show, has their Network Championship on the line in the main event.
Jimmy Yates: In the opening match tonight, LEGACY new-comers Sunny Rayne and Coca-Cola Rua will team together for the first time as they step into the ring against Allen Franks and Mostafa Bashir. Bryan Harris: First of all, Yates, let's show the duo known as "International Incident" some respect. It's "The Montreal Kid" Allen Franks and "The Beast From Kandahar" Mostafa Bashir. Just because the front office doesn't show them the respect they deserve - putting them in a pathetic tag team match like this - doesn't mean that we as announcers don't have to be dilligent about showing them the proper respect they deserve by getting their names right. Alan Ducard: Earlier today we saw a video in which the duo known as "International Incident" went to the dressing room of Josephina Colbert and specifically requested that she refer to them by their full nicknames, as they've apparently hired the I.B.S. consultants who worked with LEGACY years ago for branding purposes. Bryan Harris: The "International Incident" could one day soon be considered the best tag team in the business, and it's time that LEGACY start treating them with the respect they deserve to be shown. Jimmy Yates: This match isn't just about "The Montreal Kid" Allen Franks and "The Beast from Kandahar" Mostafa Bashir, we've also got the other side of things, too. Coca-Cola Rua and Sunny Rayne have both had one match here in LEGACY, and while they're both talented competitors, it will be an uphill battle for them here tonight, as they've never teamed up before and they're facing a seasoned tag team. Alan Ducard: Well "International Incident" isn't undefeated, so it's not out of the question that they might get upset in this match. Start of Match Footage The match begins with Allen Franks working over Sunny Rayne with his technical abilities. She tries a couple times to get out of an armbar Allen Franks is using but to no avail. He gets her on the mat and turns it into a hammerlock and spins around, showing dominance. He locks in a front facelock, then spins around into a side facelock, but then Sunny starts to get to her feet. Allen Franks tries to keep control but Rayne backs into the corner and allows Coca-Cola Rua to tag himself in. Allen Franks shoots Sunny into the ropes but Rua grabs Franks by the back of his singlet and slams him down onto the mat, his head bouncing. Coca-Cola Rua gets Franks back up, but Allen tries to battle back. The Montreal Kid even sends Rua into the ropes with an irish whip but on the return Rua flattens him seriously with a diving forearm. Sunny Rayne is tagged back into the match and she stomps onto Allen a few times. She helps Franks to his feet and kicks him in his gut, then backs up and leaps in and does an ax kick which drops Franks to the ground. She then tags back in Coca-Cola Rua. He and Mostafa Bashir jaw a little bit, the behoemeths apparently wanting to lock horns, and so Rua picks up Franks and whips him into the corner hard chest first, allowing The Montreal Kid to tag in his partner. The Beast From Kandahar enters the ring and bumps chests with the newcomer from Brazil, and the two start trading punches. Neither gets the clear advantage before Bashir sends a thumb shot to Rua's eye, then irish whips him into the ropes and on the return does a jumping front kick which drops Rua. Bashir drops into the mounted position and starts punching but Rua pulls into his MMA-style guard, blocks a few shots and then starts working his legs into position for a Triangle Choke. Allen Franks enters the ring and connects with a low dropkick to put a stop to that attempt, and then the referee forces Allen to leave the ring. Bashir backs away and gets up and then starts stomping on Rua and then picks him up and bodyslams him, then picks him up and bodyslams him across the top turnbuckle in the International Incident corner. Bashir tags in Allen Franks, The Montreal Kid goes directly to the top rope and then leaps off, twisting in mid-air so his legs are closer to the middle of the ring and he hits a headbutt drop on Rua. Before Allen Franks can go anywhere, Rua grabs him and tries for a North-South choke but Allen Franks wisely gets to the ropes. Rua then shoves Allen Franks underneath the bottom rope out onto the apron and Coca-Cola Rua gets to his feet. The Montreal Kid tries to tag in Mostafa Bashir but the ref won't allow it since they're both on the apron. Rua grabs Allen Franks and tries for a suplex back into the ring but Allen Franks switches in mid-air and gets behind Rua, then leaps up and tries for a lung-blower but Rua holds onto the top rope to keep from falling down. Rua lifts Franks up off the mat and hiptosses him into the corner where Sunny Rayne is waiting, and then Rua tags in his female tag team partner and she gets up onto the top rope and does a guillotine legdrop and makes the cover but only gets a 2 count. Allen Franks uses a forearm shot to the gut and then a gutwrench suplex to get back in the match but Sunny Rayne grabs his ankle to keep him from making the tag. Allen tries to kick her but she rolls away and gets up. Allen tries for a clothesline but Sunny drops into the splits to avoid it, then swings her legs around and trips up Allen Franks. She gets up and tries to get to her corner to make the tag but Allen Franks grabs her ankle. He gets to his feet still holding her ankle and she goes for an enzuigiri but The Montreal Kid ducks. She then fires backwards with a donkey kick that hits Franks in the gut and that gives her the chance to make the tag. Coca-Cola Rua charges into the ring and levels Allen Franks with a clothesline turning him inside out. C-C waits and then runs into the ropes to try again, but Bashir sticks out his knee connecting with Rua's lower back. C-C stumbles but does not fall. Rua helps Allen Franks to his feet and tries for an irish whip but Allen Franks switches his feet, stopping any chance of momentum and then chops at Rua's wrist. Franks sends Rua into the ropes and executes a drop toe hold, then a standing elbow drop followed by a camel clutch attempt, which Rua powers out of. The Montreal Kid gets up and tags in The Beast From Kandahar. When Rua tries to get back to his feet, Bashir starts choking him, only going until the 4 count, then hoists him up and does a shoulderbreaker. Mostafa Bashir grabs the dazed Coca-Cola Rua, gets him up off the mat and tags in Allen Franks. Bashir does an inverted atomic drop, Allen Franks runs into the ropes behind Rua then leaps and connects with a flying spinning shin kick to the back of Rua's head, and then Bashir slams him into the mat with a spinebuster. Allen Franks scrambles in and gets the three count. After the match Allen Franks gets his signature tshirt and points to the Canadian Flag and the part that says "The Montreal Kid", getting up into the camera very close and yelling that people need to know his name. He walks off, Mostafa Bashir follows him.
Alan Ducard: Coming up on Sunday Night on the pay per view proper, Paul Saunders Jr challenges Matthew Dawson in a Last Man Standing match for the Tao of Valor Championship. Jimmy Yates: If Matthew Dawson wins that match... Bryan Harris: You mean WHEN Matthew Dawson successfully defends his championship, he will earn the fourth and final token necessary to earn a guaranteed World Championship match. Alan Ducard: Matthew Dawson has held the Tao of Valor Championship a long time and has put away some talented opponents during this reign, however, Paul Saunders Jr has shown quite a bit of skill and athleticism thus far in his LEGACY tenure. Jimmy Yates: If Junior Saunders wins the Tao of Valor Championship at Glimmer of Hope, that would be the second title the Saunders family has held in their short time in LEGACY, and Matthew Dawson will feel pretty foolish about letting Paul Saunders Sr. choose which of his sons would get the opportunity to fight for the Tao of Valor Championship. Bryan Harris: Don't count on Dawson losing. He's one of the best in the business, a rising star without a doubt in my mind, and he's just got too much experience for Paulie Saunders. The other one-on-one fight for a singles title on Sunday's card is a match I'm really looking forward to. Dan Stein, a former World Title challenger here in LEGACY, has been put to task of fighting Frank Garvin in the freak's first attempt at defending the No Limits Championship. Alan Ducard: The front office in LEGACY noticed how Dan Stein seemed to not have his heart in his last few fights, especially with a very poor showing at the last pay per view, they decided to give him this fight against Frank Garvin in the hopes of him either stepping up and giving Garvin a tough battle, or getting rocked by a very dangerous competitor. Jimmy Yates: I'm happy to say that everything we've heard from Dan Stein in the past couple weeks seems to indicate that Stein will put on a better match on Sunday Night than he has in the past few opportunities in the ring. Bryan Harris: From what he's been saying lately, Frank Garvin seems to agree with that, but it's hard to tell what will actually happens when people get into the ring, especially in a No Limits environment.
We head to the main hallway of the back of the arena. Our view is not one of a LEGACY superstar, but of Madison Seton. She wears a rather small purple shirt, long-legged jean shorts with the cuffs rolled up and black Luxe boots; her hair ponytailed and a small silver cross earring in her right ear. She takes a quick stop at the pop machine and inserts enough money to purchase a Mountain Dew. She cracks the can open and has a sip before continuing her journey, passing right by Kevin James without even noticing. She innocently checks various doors left and right before reaching the one she was looking for and gives a knock. Loco Martinez: Come in, its open. Madison: Hey, dork. Loco's looks up. His eyes narrow. Clearly he's perturbed. Madison: Wha-what? Loco points to the bench. Loco Martinez: Sit. Madison does. Loco Martinez: Last time we were face to face you SLAPPED, me Maddie. Madison: What was I suppose-- Loco Martinez: No. You don't get it. What would happen if your sister would slap me? What would happen to Crazy Boy... or ANYONE if I got slapped. Now... you're not on LEGACY's roster, but ask other "non wrestlers" who've been on LEGACY TV and dared to do some dumb shit like that. You slap Issac or Kenji? What's gonna happen. I don't give a shit. We have an agreement, and ultimately I GET why you did what you did, but now I'm in the situation of "what am I supposed to do?" Your sister would EXPECT me to do something deplorable... and nine times out of ten she'd be right. You have to think about these things. You HAVE to be a step ahead of everyone. Thinking on your feet. You have to be careful. Loco pauses and looks Madison in the eyes, leaning in. Loco Martinez: Do you get what I"m saying? Madison gets a look of frustration Madison: This month really sucks. Lala loses her match, then b*tches at me over drinking and now YOU'RE b*tching at me! Loco Martinez: I just want you to understand any and all ramifications. I want you to be less "blind" then your big sister. If you're going to hang around me, I'm going to teach. I AM certified, let me remind you. *Loco gives a playful wink to lighten the mood* Madison: You sound "nine times out of 10" before. What's that "one time" you wouldn't do anything bad? Loco nods at Maddie. Madison: Oh goodie! Silence! *she looks him in the eyes* Whatever it is, it must be for one heck of a situation. Loco Martinez: So... you and Davey, huh? Maddie nods with an expression that says "Yup, that's right." Loco Martinez: Wanna talk about it? As the two continue their conversation, we cut away.
We open to fast motion clouds moving across the sky. The sky becomes grey as the bass opening to Stars "Take me to the Riot" begins to play the sky becomes most ominous, but on the far horizon we see the clouds have broken and we see the faintest glint of the setting sun. "Grey skies and light fading" Gryffin Anselm comes to the ring. "headlamps making patterns on the wall" Crazy Boy. John Thomas. Stephen Rawlings. "Uptown it's dead now but," John Thomas and Gryffin Anselm double-team Stephen Rawlings. "out here no one seems to care at all" Crazy Boy works over Jake Dominion. "Slick girls and..." Justin Moreno with a dropkick to Jake Dominion's chest, knocking CB backwards in the process. "sick boys and.. " LOCapitator on Jake Dominion. "each one lining up to take it home" Devastation locks in the crossface on Gryffin... "They hold tight their coin and pray no one has to see the fall" ...and Anselm taps out!! "I'm there, yeah I serve them, the one with the empty looking eyes" "Come closer, you'll see me: the face that is used to telling lies" Crazy Boy with a full body attack on Justin Moreno. "Saturday nights in neon lights, Sunday in the cell" Jake Dominion fumes as he is held back from joining Crash in the ring. "Pills enough to make me feel ill, cash enough to make me well" "Take me, take me to the riot" Random shots of in-ring violence. "Take me. Take me to the riot" Crazy Boy with a roaring elbow onto Crash "Take me . Take me to the riot" Dwight Schrute standing next to Mose'. "Take me..." Crash hits Crazy Boy with the brass knuckles and Crazy Boy is out cold for the three count "You sprung me, I'm grateful Loco Martinez hits Crash with a headbutt to the groin "I owe you..." "but I know you," Ron Bailey and Stephen Rawlings both taken down by Greg Allocca with a double face slam. "you'll have me back but it's gonna take a week Jake Dominion with the ICE BREAKER Fisherman's Swinging Neckbreaker on John Iley "Will we ever make up and be friends? Devastation with the Decapitator on Stephen Rawlings, pinning him. "Let's do them! Just feed me... I hate when I have to go to sleep X-Calibur with the X-Terminator on Cronos Diamante "... and I love you" Loco Martinez with a stalling dropkick on Justin Moreno, who is trapped in an abdominal stretch at the time "It's not much but it's just enough to keep..." JT with the sick falling neckbreaker on Loco Martinez "Saturday nights in neon lights, Sunday in the cell" JT was attempting the New School on Justin Moreno but lost his footing and X-Calibur leaps in and hits an X-Terminator on John Thomas. "Pills enough to make me feel ill, cash enough to make me well" Crash bodyslams Justin Moreno. "Take me, take me to the riot" X-Calibur and Justin Moreno team up with a Legendary Pain and a Fujiwara Armbar on Greg Allocca, who is forced to tap out "Take me. Take me. to the riot" X-Calibur locks in the Legendary Pain on Justin Moreno "Take me. Take me. to the riot" X-Calibur with a Northern Lights Suplex on Crash. "And let me stay..." Crash drills X-Calibur with a pair of brass knuckles. "And let me stay..." Crash hits the Aero-Zeppelin Driver spinning Tombstone piledriver multiple times and then pins X-Calibur. "let me stay... let me. let me. STAY" Crash has his hands held high, the World Championship in his grasp.
Alan Ducard: A match you'd have to think will be extremely heated is our second bout of the night, as former tag team champpion teammates battle one another. Jimmy Yates: To say they're just former tag team champions is minimizing things a bit. Cronos Diamante and Mirage have been running the same circles for the better part of the last 15 years, having teamed up in other organizations before, and they found quite a bit of success in LEGACY as The Agents of Destiny, bringing home the tag team championships. Bryan Harris: Once they lost the belts, I think Cronos Diamante determined that Mirage wasn't holding up his end of the deal, a sentiment only strengthened by the talk LEGACY-owner Rob Belote had with the duo about how they needed to stop slacking off. Alan Ducard: Well after Mirage and Cronos lost at STRIFE 62, Cronos decided he'd had enough of Mirage and brutally attacked him. Jimmy Yates: In fact, I'm not even sure if Mirage is going to be here tonight, but we'll find out when it's time for the fight what condition Mirage is in. Something tells me if he can get to the ring, he'll want to get some revenge on Diamante. Start of Match Footage The lights in the Greensboro Coliseum go out and “You’re Going Down” by Sick Puppies blares over the Public Address system. Strobe lights begin flashing and an explosion of red and white fireworks hit the entrance way. Cronos Diamante walks out from the entrance way and makes a slow, stalking walk to the ring with a microphone in hand. Cronos Diamante: It’s that time again, fans.At the voice of one Cronos Diamante, the fans let out a chorus of boos and an “asshole” chant begins. When Cronos stands in the middle of the ring, the strobe lights cease but his music continues playing. He looks out at the crowd in the Coliseum, sold out with no seat left occupied. Cronos takes a big whiff and smirks. He points at a fan ringside with a “Cronos is the answer to the fucking Mirage” fan and chuckles then makes the cutting motion for his music. Cronos Diamante: I like this fan right here. Cronos is the answer to the fucking Mirage. I’m not quite sure how you answer a Mirage, no offense kid, but it’s the thought that counts, right? But in this case… I am the answer to Mirage. He’s going to come out here and receive the beating of his LIFE. Jimmy Yates: Do we have to put up with the yapping too? Let’s just get on to the match. Alan Ducard: He obviously has something to say so just listen. Cronos Diamante: You see. I didn’t think Mirage was going to accept this match. I thought he was going to tuck tail and run off home. But he surprised me for once. Yeah the little pisser actually surprised me. He’s going to come on down to this ring with his shit music taste… isn’t that music bad? I mean really. Moving right along… he’s going to come down to this ring and by the time I’m done with his pathetic ass, he won’t be able to walk again and I’ll have finally gotten rid of Mirage once and for all. I’m going to finish the job I started all those weeks back. So Mirage, without any further adieu… GET YOUR ASS… Suddenly, appearing on the jumbotron is Cronos' opponent, Mirage. Alan Ducard: This is surprising. Mirage: I do apologize for the interruption, Cronos. But I regret to inform you that due to an ongoing evaluation ordered by Legacy, I am not cleared to compete tonight. I do apologize, because believe me, there is nothing I'd love to do more than get in that ring with you of all people...for obvious reasons. While I expect to be cleared soon, tonight is out of the question. I... Cronos Diamante: Enough! Jimmy Yates: I don’t think Cronos is happy at all about this. Bryan Harris: Ya think, Jimbo? Cronos paces the ring for a good minute and looks up to the jumbotron with a look of absolute hatred in his eyes. Cronos Diamante: You’re going to get in this ring at some point in time tonight, Marcus. I promise you. One way or another, Marcus… I’m going to get mine. It’s not gonna be on some other night you’re cleared to wrestle. It’s going to be on this night. Blood is going to spill and if it’s not yours, it’ll be someone you love. You have until the end of the show to get out to this ring. For your sake I hope you listen to me. Cronos exits the ring and begins walking to the back. Alan Ducard: Someone Mirage loves is going to pay if he doesn’t get in the ring. I don’t like the sound of that one bit. Jimmy Yates: What more can he do? He already traumatized his daughter. Bryan Harris: It’s Cronos Diamante. He’s just getting started and it won’t end until he gets Mirage. Quote me on it. Cronos throws the microphone up at the jumbotron of Mirage watching him walk to the back with a concerned look on his face then disappears into the locker room area.
Everything is black. Then the shot comes alive... a single frame of a silhouette. MGMT's "Flash Dilirium" starts to kick in. "Mild apprehension Then the camera pans up. Our man stands in a black button down shirt... tight fitted black slacks. A black peacoat over the shirt... his hair a medium brown, styled. His face almost model like. He smiles. "You say “I’ve got the backbone” Then a shot of him standing over fallen past opponents. Each hard beat that kicks in is another fallen victim. Everything in greyscale. Everything happening so fast. "Here’s a growing culture Then one last shot of our figure. He stands in his 13th floor condo... peering out to the horizon. Black backdrop. Gold text. "Yours truly, The Sin City Violator. Julian York." Black. "Tell me that didn't make me look absolutely amazing..." We're in the backstage area... a man sits on a bench with a coffee in his hand, the same man from the hype video... Julian York. He's clad in a full black suit with a blue undershirt, a black fedora and black dress shoes. Everything perfectly tailored. Then the shot catches our other figure... he's clad in a suit of his own, grey with a white undershirt and a black tie. He shakes his head. ???: "Seems forced, doesn't it? If even just a little?" Julian laughs. Julian York: "Of course it's forced, how many times have we seen a run of the mill hype video like this? A million times. The only difference? This one had me, Ethan. MR. DEVIANT OF DEBAUCHERY..." Ethan lets out a sigh. Ethan Delgrotta: "Sometimes I think you might love yourself too much, old friend..." Julian grins... staring directly into the camera. Julian York: "This is your notice, LEGACY. There's a new sheriff in town..." He takes one last sip of his coffee before the two walk off down the hallway, disappearing from view.
Alan Ducard: Coming up on Sunday Night on the pay per view proper, the World Tag Team Championship belts are on the line in the finals of this four-round tournament we've had going on since our last pay per view. Jimmy Yates: I'm sure plenty of people were surprised when Tres Bien won the World Tag Team Titles at STRIFE 63 - I know I was surprised - but they're certainly an under-rated pairing, and that tournament had to have taken its toll on the former tag team champions, Loco Martinez and X-Calibur. Bryan Harris: What the LEGACY front office did to Profanity & Insanity is a crying shame and I wouldn't be surprised if there were some sort of lawsuit in the works. No one should be put into position to have to defend their belts week after week after week like they were forced to do. Anyone would slip up, and now we have subpar champions until Sunday night when The V.I.P. will likely bring the belts home. Alan Ducard: Well you certainly have to credit the V.I.P. for what they've been able to do, not the least of their accomplishments including a victory over Family Values and most recently Domination. Jimmy Yates: Oh I definitely don't like their style, but "Iceman" Adam Davis and Ledge are a very formidable duo, and although I think Tres Bien are better than most people give them credit for, it wouldn't surprise me at all if V.I.P. leave Glimmer of Hope with the most coveted World Tag Team Championships in the business.
The footage cuts backstage where Andrew Kelley is standing next to Diego de Cardenas on one side and Hector Rodriguez on the other. Just as he's about to start talking, the microphone is taken away from the backstage interviewer by Hector Rodriguez, and friend of el Chupacabra, Alfie appears and is handed the microphone. Alfie: You can go now. Andrew Kelly looks at Alfie, then over at Hector Rodriguez, and then quickly makes his exit. Alfie: Diego, H-Rod, coming up in two days you get back into the ring as a tag team here in LEGACY for the first time in almost a year. Why did you pick Domination to challenge in your return? Diego de Cardenas: Great question, Alfie. I don't think I could've written down a more appropriate question for you to ask. Hector lets out a quick laugh. Diego de Cardenas: We chose them because they're the best, and it's not every day that you get the chance to just step up and challenge the best to a pay per view match like this. On any other event, Domination would have tons of teams lined up to go after them, but with the tournament finals getting setup like it did, we had an opportunity and jumped on it. Alfie: Your challenge was accepted, but if they had decided not to fight the two of you at Glimmer of Hope, would you have treated them like you did The Flying Avengers at STRIFE 63? Hector Rodriguez: Nah. The Flying Avengers are bitches, and Domination? They're leagues above, Alfie. We've had a couple throws with those guys in LEGACY and we've seen what they did in LEGACY International, and frankly, there's not another team in wrestling today that we respect like we respect those guys. Diego de Cardenas: You just can NOT compare The Flying Avengers to Domination. Do we have a reputation for taking cheap shots - in the ring and backstage? No doubt, but there's a big difference between showing people that a team like The Flying Avengers are a couple of BITCHES like we did, and taking some liberties in the ring against a team we have respect for. Alfie: Why should anyone believe you? Hector Rodriguez: Why should we care about what anyone thinks? Diego shrugs, and then he and H-Rod walk off, leaving Alfie standing there for a moment, and then he walks off to follow them.
The screen goes dark and then a burgundy set of text appears. 2009 Co-Op Challenge As the numbers fade out, a song fades in. "I'm Gonna find you, and make you want me " Issac Entragian standing in the ring, his hands in the air, victorious.
Bryan Harris: Main Event time, folks, and Boyd Saunders might've bit off more than he can chew, because tonight's Network Title defense is in a No Limits match against two guys who excel in that type of environment. Jimmy Yates: I don't know who Boyd Saunders pissed off to be booked into this situation, but the odds do seem a little crazy against him. Alan Ducard: In a way, the situation evolved due to the way in which Thomas Manchester Black lost his No Limits Title and then the mind games played by Thomas Manchester Black when Chris Turner had a shot at the Network Title. Jimmy Yates: I guess this whole thing got setup to see just how tough Boyd Saunders can be, and also to give Thomas Manchester Black a chance at reclaiming gold and to give Chris Turner the chance to see what he would do if he weren't distracted. Bryan Harris: The F/X Network is probably the grittiest channel on regular cable, so I'm not surprised that they'd be willing to let their title be defended under No Limits rules. I think they'd want to have a champion who could survive a brutal contest like this. Alan Ducard: Triple Threat, so you can imagine that the alliances are likely to be held to a minimum, especially because Chris Turner and Thomas Manchester Black can't stand one another. Let's check out the footage and see what transpires. Start of Match Footage With Thomas Manchester Black down on the outside, clutching his ribs from a nasty stomach breaker across the knee he took moments ago from Boyd Saunders, Chris Turner has the Network Champ staggering into the corner turnbuckle with hammering forearm shots that rock the big man onto spaghetti legs. With Boyd’s back pressed against the turnbuckles, Turner climbs up onto Boyd and begins delivering an all out assault. Instead of delivering punches slow enough for the crowd to count along with him, he delivers them fast and furiously, snapping Boyd’s head back with each lunging blow. Alan Ducard: That bloke is possessed! Bryan Harris: Chris Turner is tired of coming up short in matches where it counts. He’s the most dangerous competitor on this roster, and yet he’s NEVER been No Limits champion. I think tonight he’s looking to rectify that. Jimmy Yates: If he keeps up that kind of intensity, he very well could succeed in doing that, Bryan. Without a doubt. After having stunned the colossal competitor, Turner jumps down from the second turnbuckle and delivers a boot to Boyd’s mid-section. Grabbing him by his head, Turner hooks him up for a DDT, but not before dragging him to the center of the ring. Before he can drive Boyd’s head down into the canvas though, Boyd uses a fraction of his leg strength to lift Turner up into the air. Turner still has the chancery applied though, and Boyd gradually loses his balance to hold Turner up. Just before Turner can drive him down for the DDT he originally wanted, Boyd once again lifts up Turner with a giant sized GROAN, and actually turns it into a release Northern Lights suplex that sends Turner down to the mat awkwardly against the ropes. Jimmy Yates: That has to be the BIGGEST Northern Lights suplex I’ve ever seen! Bryan Harris: Turner hit HARD after that… I think he damn near lost an ear the way his head grazed that bottom rope. Alan Ducard: Look at TMB getting back into this! Shaking the cobwebs from Turner’s front chancery, Boyd looks forward at the wrong possible time - just as Boyd was able to focus forward, a regrouped TMB fell into the ropes for added momentum and EXPLODED forward with his version of the jawbreaker lariat. Much to everyone’s surprise, Boyd’s massive frame goes down HARD from the stiffness of the clothesline! Jimmy Yates: Chin Check! Good LORD that was stiff! Alan Ducard: TMB just about decapitated Boyd Saunders with that move! Bryan Harris: I’m surprised he took him down with the shot, to be honest. I didn’t think clotheslines… uh… WORKED on Baby Huey. To no avail, TMB screams at Leonard Nolan to count while he hooks a massive redwood under his arm. One… And that’s all he was able to get before Turner stomps his foot hard across TMB’s spine, breaking up the pin attempt. Flagrantly cussing both competitors out, Turner helps TMB to his feet. TMB is ready, though, and kicks Turner in the gut. Feeling no pain, Turner almost completely ignores the stomp and slams TMB in the temple with an open palm slap, ringing TMB’s bell enough to double him over. Clutching his temples, TMB screams in agony as Chris Turner pulls TMB into the front chancery he previously had Boyd locked in. Turner SNAPS TMB down with thunderous force, dumping him on his noggin with a DDT. Jimmy Yates: He spiked him like he was setting up a tent! Dayum!! Bryan Harris: That much weight compressing against the spine can bench an athlete permanently… it’s no wonder he’s not DEAD after that one. Alan Ducard: Oh now come on, Chris.. Exiting the ring, Turner makes some obscene gestures to the front row audience, who in turn boo their asses off. Alan Ducard: Was that really necessary?! Turner makes a bee-line for a steel chair, almost trampling over some ringside cameramen in the process. Folding it up, Turner slips back into the ring. He pounds the mat with steel three times, waiting for someone to get to their feet. Boyd is the first man up, and Turner promptly lunges at him, CONNECTING with a massive chair shot that sends the seven-footer gliding down over the top rope, landing on his feet before quickly dropping to one knee from the ill effects of the chair shot. Bryan Harris: GOD…. Jimmy Yates: Going…. Going… GONE! This one’s outta the park, ladies and gentlemen! Alan Ducard: But once again, TMB is RIGHT there to spoil the party. As Turner surveys the damage done to Boyd, he spins around to be greeted by a winding back-kick to the mid-section. Turner doubles over and drops the chair, allowing TMB to seize the scrap metal. Picking it up, he measures Turner up before DRIVING the POINT of the chair right down into Turner’s spine. Turner’s anguish becomes apparent as he slumps to his knees with a grimace of absolute pain. Retreating into the ropes, TMB tosses the chair to Turner, who instinctively catches it, playing right into what TMB wants. Rushing forward, TMB SMASHES the chair right into Turner’s face with a brutal mid-kick, the force of which reverberates through the arena. As Turner lays on the ground, clutching his face, TMB slides into an MMA guard. Reaching behind the back of Turner’s head with both hands, TMB pulls Turner’s head FORWARD, in a can opener submission hold. Bryan Harris: Wow! I’m SHOCKED Black is going for the submission here… this is a No Limits match. You’d expect them to be beating the living crap out of each other with weapons! Alan Ducard: That may be so in most cases, but as Thomas Manchester Black has said all week? He wants to rip Turner’s joints apart and make him submit. I truly believe, aside from winning the Network Title, that making Turner tap is his goal in this match. Jimmy Yates: Yeah, and what better way to do it then use some of his mixed martial arts knowledge to tear him apart! I mean hell, when was the last time you saw a freaking CAN OPENER being applied in a wrestling match?! Chris just may give it up here… Alan Ducard: Absolutely. With Turner in aching pain and TMB‘s prowess in submission fighting, I think Boyd might realize that the match, and title, could be slipping away from him. Holding his head from where Turner hit him with the title earlier, Boyd uses the ropes to pull himself up into the ring. Stepping over the top rope, while his right leg is swinging over, Boyd DROPS to the canvas and smashes TMB with his massive tree trunk, effectively breaking up the submission hold. Jimmy Yates: An innovative looking on-the-fly leg drop from Big Boyd right there! He might’ve knocked Black out with it! The massive girth of Boyd’s frame slowly rises off of the mat, and he pulls TMB in tow to the center of the ring. Clutching TMB by the neck, Boyd hoists him up into the air, looking for a choke slam. Holding him in that position, Boyd walks to the turnbuckles, where he actually OVER-SHOOTS TMB, crotching him on the cable between the post and turnbuckles! The crowd GROANS in agony for Black, as Boyd just shrugs for his beneficial error. With Black’s mouth wipe open, gasping for air, Boyd SLAPS the taste out of the former No Limits champion’s mouth, sending him crashing awkwardly down to the outside. Jimmy Yates: Between getting crotched on a piece of cable, AND a giant sized slap, one has to wonder if TMB was prepared for this side of the “No Limits” style here in LEGACY. Bryan Harris: Boyd Saunders hearkens back to the days of when Matt Towers instilled fear into this LEGACY locker room. Alan Ducard: Indeed. Some would even say that he’s BETTER than Matt Towers, even if it’s a little early to make such a comparison. Jimmy Yates: Let’s not forget. Matt Towers had one of the greatest No Limits match in LEGACY history against Issac Entragian; Boyd Saunders has a LONG way to go before he steps foot onto that plateau, in my humble opinion. Boyd then focuses his attention on Chris Turner, who has been lying on the mat for a suspiciously long time. Sure enough, as Boyd reaches down to get him to his feet, Turner jolts upwards, smashing Boyd’s nose with a head-butt. Boyd reels back, clutching his face, and Turner knows he has the big man right where he wants him. Meanwhile, on the outside, TMB is reaching underneath the ring for what appears to be a table. Jimmy Yates: Looks like Black is looking for some wood right now. Bryan Harris: *does some clicking of some keys on his lap top* Snipped. Jimmy Yates: What? Bryan Harris: Haha, that was a GOOD one. Alan Ducard: What is Turner doing here? Rolling to the outside, Turner also fishes underneath the ring… and after a few moments, the blood thirsty fans in attendance ROAR as Turner retrieves a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. TMB meanwhile, is searching underneath the apron AGAIN, and begins pulling out a SECOND table. Setting them up carefully, he watches on as Turner rolls back into the ring. Not even giving Boyd the chance to focus on him, he winds up and SMASHES Boyd’s mid-section with the barbed wire, Boyd howls in pain and drops to his knees, where Turner RIPS the baseball bat from his bare upper torso, yanking little spots of flesh from his abdomen. Jimmy Yates: Turner has Boyd right where he wants him, here. This level of violence plays RIGHT into Chris Turner’s gameplan, I assure you. Bryan Harris: That was disgusting. Boyd’s bleeding in various spots on his stomach. Almost looks like someone tortured him with little slices from a box cutter. With Boyd holding his mid-section, he opens himself up for a nasty shot to the head from the barbed wire bat. Feeling Boyd has had enough, Turner makes the cover… One… Two… Boyd is not finished by a LONG SHOT though, and actually press-slams Turner off of him showing a great measure of strength considering Turner’s own bulkiness. Finally done adjoining the two tables next to one another, lengthwise, TMB hurries into the ring to stop anymore pin attempts from Chris Turner. With bat in hand though, TMB quickly grabs the steel chair Turner had previously used and picks it up. Turner sees TMB though, and charges right at him. TMB holds the steel chair up like a knight’s shield and weathers a devastating blow from the barbed wire bat that Turner is wielding. Catching TMB off balance, Turner swings again, this time obliterating the steel chair out of TMB’s hands and knocking him down on his ass. Lifting the bat up, going straight for a killing blow, Turner swings down, but not before TMB wraps both of his legs around Turner’s, bringing him down awkwardly with a drop toe hold. Losing his grip on the bat, Turner lands on his knees, and his face right on the TIP of the baseball bat. Jimmy Yates: Oh my GOD!! Alan Ducard: Turner just ate the bat!! Good God… he’s done! Eyes glazing over, Turner falls back onto the mat, with TMB surprised he was able to catch Turner with something as simple as a drop-toe-hold. Hooking a leg, TMB screams at Nolan to make the count… One!! Two!! THR- NO!! Jimmy Yates: Turner kicked out!! I thought he was unconscious!! Looking a bit bewildered that Turner was able to kick out of the barbed wire baseball bat mishap, TMB shakes his head with frustration. Going in for an Americana, TMB begins hooking Turner’s arm up for it, but Boyd sees this submission attempt happening and puts a stop to it post haste. Stomping down HARD on TMB, he breaks it up, and brings TMB to his feet. But TMB has NONE of Boyd’s interference, and knees him straight in the nads. Boyd’s eyes go wide , and he drops to his knees with his head sticking out, trying to hold his balance from going down completely to the mat. Seizing the opportunity, TMB runs into the ropes, and on the rebound, he jumps up high and NAILS Boyd in the face with a devastating AXE kick! Bryan Harris: Time for Boyd to “Get Down, or Lay Down“! Jimmy Yates: Boyd could be out right here. TMB drops down and heaves a red wood up for a deep cover. ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!!! Jimmy Yates: Turner breaks it up!! I thought this one was over!! Alan Ducard: Turner just robbed Black with a victory right there, if you ask me! Boyd is OUT!! Turner brings TMB to his feet, and hooks TMB up for a reverse DDT. Bryan Harris: Turner could be looking for the Masked Vengeance here! TMB fights it off though, and spins back around into an upright position. Trying to do to Turner what Boyd did to him earlier, TMB goes for a Northern lights suplex… but Turner just hammers TMB’s neck until his grip loosens. Driving TMB into the turnbuckles, Turner lifts him up and seats him on the top turnbuckle. Climbing to the bottom turnbuckle himself, Turner grabs TMB into position for a urinage. Heaving back, Turner spins TMB around in mid-air, SLAMMING him down to the mat with thunderous force in spinning side-slam from the top turnbuckle! Alan Ducard: That moves kind of like what the late great Yokozuna used to do, only… I’ve never seen him execute it from the top rope before! Blimey! Bryan Harris: He hit it perfectly… and TMB is out!! Turner drops for a lateral cover, snarling at Nolan to make the count… ONE!! TWO!! THR- Boyd makes the save! Jimmy Yates: AGAIN, someone is robbed of a victory in this match!! This match is so close it’s ridiculous! All three competitors are giving it their absolute ALL here tonight, ladies and gentlemen! Alan Ducard: I would say, that Frank Garvin and Dan Stein are being put on notice here tonight with this match, because the winner of this one, I would imagine, would slip right into a contender’s spot when all is said and done! Bringing Turner to his feet, he is met with stiff shots by the wild No Limits veteran. Boyd is rocked a bit, but through sheer grit and determination, he fights back. Using his towering size, he NAILS a right handed shot right into Turner’s face that DROPS him like a sack of bricks! Bryan Harris: SHEESH… did you HEAR that?! That was a shot that would make even Floyd Mayweather blush! Jimmy Yates: Don’t forget, Boyd Saunders said he was going to dip those taped up fists in WAX this week, and I think he followed up with it! Turner is on dream street right now! Looking at his fist, seeing some of the hardened wax chip off of his taped fist, Boyd shakes his head. Looking over at the time keeper’s table, where the bucket of hot wax sits that he brought out with him upon his entrance tonight, it’s obvious that Boyd is thinking about dipping his fists into the wax again… but before he can make his way over to the pale of wax, TMB is back on his feet, jumping on his back with a deep sleeper hold. Gasping for air, Boyd tries to fight it. Turner begins stirring again, getting to his feet. Seeing TMB trying for the choke out on Boyd, Turner uses the rope to help him up the rest of his way to his feet. As soon as Boyd turns around, Turner CHARGES, and nails a vicious SPEAR right into Boyd Saunders, sending him down to the canvas… which CRUSHES TMB! Jimmy Yates: OH MY GOD! BLACK IS DEAD! BLACK IS DEAD! The audience comes UNGLUED as Boyd lies motionless on top of Black, who is probably suffocating to death under all of that weight. Rolling Boyd off of TMB, Turner hooks TMB’s leg and Nolan slides in for the count! Jimmy Yates: This one’s over! ONE!! Bryan Harris: Turner’s done it!! TWO!! Alan Ducard: TMB IS OUT!! THREE… NO!!! Bryan Harris: NO!! NO!! NO!! TMB KICKS OUT!! TMB KICKS OUT!! Jimmy Yates: HOW THE HELL DID HE KICK OUT OF THAT?! HOW?! All three men lay in the middle of the ring, and the audience roars for SOMEBODY to get up. As Nolan counts all three men down, Turner is the first one stirring. Standing up, he begins picking TMB up… but out of NOWHERE, clutching his ribs, TMB clutches Turner’s head into an inverted face-lock! Bryan Harris: Violent Party! TMB flips forward, but Turner STUFFS IT, sending TMB down onto the mat. Boyd is up, clutching his ribs. Turner is up, and TMB is just getting up after his attempt at his trademark move is blocked. All three men look at each other for a moment, before BOTH TMB and Turner turn their attentions to Boyd… all of a sudden, they unleash a fury of kicks and punches on the gargantuan of a man, who is trying with all his might to fight back. Alan Ducard: Looks like Turner and Black finally realized that they need to finish off the giant-sized Boyd Saunders before they do ANYTHING more in this match! Booting Boyd in the mid-section, Turner and TMB attempt to duplex the massive dinosaur of a man into the center of the ring, but they don’t even get a leg off of the ground as Boyd stuffs it completely. Both Turner and Boyd try again, but Boyd pulls both of them closer to the ropes with the two adjoined tables sitting below. Jimmy Yates: Oh… oh my God. He’s not gonna… no way. Suddenly, as the entire arena rises to their feet, anticipating what’s coming next, Boyd cinches both Turner and TMB in DEEP for a suplex attempt. DIGGING DEEP WITHIN, Boyd LIFTS BOTH TURNER AND BLACK UP INTO THE AIR… DROPPING THEM OVER THE TOP ROPE THROUGH BOTH TABLES!! “HOL-EE SHIT! HOL-EE SHIT! HOL-EE SHIT!” “THIS-IS-AWE-SOME!”, clap, clap, clap clap clap. “THIS-IS-AWE-SOME!”, clap, clap, clap clap clap. “LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE! LEG-A-SEE!”, the fans chant at the top of their lungs after witnessing pieces of wood EXPLODE in all directions from Turner and Black’s stereo impact! Boyd screams with his fists pumped, completely amped to the max for the double suplex over the top he just did to Turner and TMB. Jimmy Yates: I am… I am speechless. That was the single most amazing feat I’ve EVER seen someone accomplish before. Bryan Harris: He just suplexed two men - two men who are large in their own right - by HIMSELF. That… that is amazing. Alan Ducard: TMB isn’t moving. Turner… somehow, Turner is sitting up amidst the wreckage! As Turner sits up, Boyd has a look of disbelief on his face, like Michael Myers in Halloween who, after six gunshots, won’t die. Looking over at TMB, who is unconscious after having taken the brunt of the damage by going through the table head first, Turner peels himself off of the wreckage, and stumbles into the barricade, drooling onto it after having no IDEA where he is at the moment. At this point, Boyd Saunders rolls outside to the ring and searches underneath the ring for something. Moments later, he retrieves two large black sacks… and the capacity crowd roars with unbelievable intensity. Bryan Harris: No WAY… is that what I think it is? Jimmy Yates: This is getting SICK… Alan Ducard: Turner has NO idea what’s going on… I think he’s unconscious on his feet! Rolling back into the ring, Boyd Saunders opens up a bag… and pours thousands upon thousands of thumb tacks down into the center of the ring, spreading them out a little bit for more mat coverage carefully with his boot. Looking at the second bag, Boyd picks it up… but stops. Looking out at the pale of hot wax sitting at the time keeper’s table, Boyd smirks from ear to ear. Jimmy Yates: NO. Bryan Harris: Welcome to the No Limits division, Boyd Saunders! I think this kid’s gone loopy. As Turner wanders outside of the ring, stumbling to his feet every now and then, Boyd rolls to the outside and walks up to the container of wax sitting on a hot plate. Dipping his taped up hands into it like Jean-Claude Van Damme in the original Kickboxer, Boyd cries out in pain for a moment as the fans MARK OUT for his hardcore demeanor. While Turner clumsily makes his way back into the ring, Boyd seethes from the pain of the hot wax dripping from his hands, leaving a gooey trail on the outside mat like a slug on the sidewalk. Upon rolling into the ring, Boyd opens the SECOND bag… and DIPS HIS TAPED UP, HOT WAX HANDS INTO THE TACKS!!! “HOL-EE-SHIT! HOL-EE-SHIT! HOL-EE-SHIT!” “SAWN-DERS! SAWN-DERS! SAWN-DERS!” With his hands blanketed in silver from the thousands of tacks sticking to them, Boyd Saunders measures up Turner, who is dazedly walking towards the center of the ring, and CONNECTS WITH A STIFF RIGHT HAND INTO THE FACE OF TURNER!! Turner goes down HARD against the tacks on the mat!!! And suddenly, as if woken from a pleasant dream into a nightmare, Turner starts screaming in agony, rolling around the bed of tacks with his face gushing blood from being ripped open by that nasty tack-covered punch! “OH-MY-GOD! OH-MY-GOD! OH-MY-GOD!”, chant the crowd, as Boyd Saunders revels in the carnage he’s unleashing on Turner. Dropping to his knees, he covers Turner, and the crowd counts along with it. ONE!! TWO!! THR- NO!!! Jimmy Yates: WHAT?!?!!!!!!!!!!!! Alan Ducard: BLOODY HELL!!!!! TURNER KICKED OUT!!!! OUT OF ALL THAT!!! TURNER KICKED OUT!!! Boyd looks SHOCKED, as portions of the crowd chant “TUR-NER! TUR-NER! TUR-NER!” from his display of true grit and resilience! Taken aback by Turner’s unwillingness to stay down, Boyd winds up for another shot, waiting for Turner to get to his feet on his own power. Turner finally does… and Boyd nails him AGAIN in the face with his WAXED and TACKED fists. The crowd LOSES it, as Boyd follows this shot up with a standing FIST DROP right into Turner’s bloody forehead. Just like the great Million Dollar Man, Boyd rolls over for another, only… he rolls into the bed of TACKS, covering his body in them. Upon standing, Boyd drops ANOTHER, which the crowd begins counting along with. TWO!! Boyd rolls, picking up more tacks, and drops ANOTHER fist drop. THREE!! Boyd rolls, and with Turner unmoving, he drops ANOTHER. FOUR!! Boyd rolls one more time, and as Turner lays unconscious, Boyd makes like he’s going to stop, but when the crowd starts BOOING this, Boyd shrugs and drops ONE MORE TACKED UP FIST into Turner’s face!! FIVE!!! Just as TMB is pulling himself up from the wreckage on the outside, he drapes himself over the canvas to watch Boyd Saunders make a lateral cover on Chris Turner, Nolan is there, trying not to slam his hand on top of the tack, so the count’s much slower. ONE… TMB sees this, and grabs the bottom rope. TWO… Pulling himself in, TMB rolls into the ring. THREE!! Before TMB can break up the count, Nolan’s hand counts three and the fans explode! Josephina Colbert: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match… and STILL F/X Network Champion… BIIIIIIG… BOOOOOOOOOYD…. SAAAAAAAAAUNDERS!!! Jimmy Yates: My GOD!!! I’m STUNNED!! That match was EPIC!! Alan Ducard: It looks like a war zone in that ring right now!! Bryan Harris: And that's exactly why I love these kinds of matches!Leonard Nolan is handed the F/X Network title belt and he hands it to Boyd Saunders, who raises the belt into the air victorious, the fans around the arena cheering for the giant who continues to reign over the championship. Jimmy Yates: You have to think that with the way things ended here, things aren't done between Thomas Manchester Black and Chris Turner.
The camera goes back to the recap position. Alan Ducard: Two nights from now, five teams will compete with the World Championship on the line in this year's Co-Op Challenge, and because the Captains were not decided prior to STRIFE 63, there was no time to actually start recruiting teams on-camera until that point. Jimmy Yates: Not to mention the fact that the last captain wasn't even decided until the main event of our last show, STRIFE 63, when John Thomas defeated Greyson Blade. And you have to think that this tag team tournament they've been having was part of the reason that captains weren't decided until that point, given that X-Calibur, Loco Martinez, Patrick Kidd, Greyson Blade, Adam Davis and Ledge were all involved in the tournament up through the first part of that show. Bryan Harris: Now the teams are set, and I think it's quite obvious that Team SCAR is going to win. How do you beat a team of Kenji Yamada, last year's winner Issac Entragian, and the very devious Chivalric? It's simple, you pretty much can't! Not unless you're going with the Profanity & Insanity team. Alan Ducard: Ah yes, the great coup brought on by Loco Martinez, who entered "Profanity & Insanity" into the Co-Op Challenge Captains raffle, giving he and X-Calibur a dual spot as the captains of one of the teams. Apparently in addition to former World Champion Stephen Rawlings, they have also somehow managed to get a fourth spot on their team - a member whose identity they're keeping secret. Jimmy Yates: Well I think Patrick Kidd's team has quite a good chance of winning, with LEGACY Cornerstone Greyson Blade and former Network Champion Hazard as their third team meber. Bryan Harris: A guy who I really think did a bad job of recruiting is John Thomas, who keeps showing more and more evidence that he has fallen off his rocker, getting Laura Seton as his primary draft pick, and Harrison Saunders? Alan Ducard: You might not like her, but Laura Seton is quite accomplished here in LEGACY, and I think John Thomas' logic behind getting Harrison Saunders on his team is quite sound. Jimmy Yates: The other somewhat under-dog team who could have a great chance at having one of their members leave with the World Championship is Crazy Boy's squad. Crazy Boy's a hugely popular guy for a reason, with all his success in LEGACY. Trey Willet - Willenium - is an exciting new addition to the roster, and Cade Sydal? Come on, that guy is easily one of the top competitors in the world year after year. Alan Ducard: If the past two Co-Op Challenges were any indication, this year's match could be great, so you'll want to tune in on Sunday night!
