Profile Information

Some say Herbt J. Moxley is a wrestler pretending to be a nerd, while others say he’s a nerd pretending to be a wrestler.

In truth, he’s both.

The loveable nerd made his first appearance in wrestling in the later days of TTW. His start was not as a member of the roster, but actually as a behind the scenes intern. After lashing out backstage at Derek Shane for breaking his action figure, a grudge match was booked, and the rest became history.

Herb Moxley showed a variety of in-ring talent. He was fairly successful as a cruiser weight, with some notable victories in the second Sky High tournament. He also was known as a giant slayer, mostly due to his defeat of the 7-foot plus rival “Big Heart” Bryant Jackson in a stuff your opponent in a locker pay per view match. He finally won gold in the last televised TTW event where Moxley and DJ Cassidy (Known collectively as “Revenge of the Nerds”) defeated the Beautiful People, ending an epic title reign.

Moxley saw a lot of success in the early days of LEGACY. Although the nerds lost the tag titles in the opening show, he and Cassidy were able to get a second title run not long after. Herb also saw some singles division success which peaked at the defeat of Nicholas Creed for the Tao of Valor champion ship. After a tragic chair shot delivered from a former friend turned Rival, Dan Stein, many had thought the dream was over.

But all was not lost.

Herbie J is back after a year and a half hiatus, ready to win back the hearts of the LEGACY fans.
