Formerly a dark, satanic character... Damien Black has apparently done a complete 180 and serves a higher authority and has made it his personal mission to do the right thing in the name of God to avoid hell. While his methods are, at times, a little too violent and sadistic, his heart is in the right place. The question in everyone's minds is that has Damien truly reformed or is this just the calm before the storm? Time will tell.

Background: He grew up in a fundamentalist home where his father was an abusive preacher who had a tendency to go to the bottle when he couldn't control his demons. Eventually his father was shot in a domestic dispute by his mother and Damien ran away to be trained by Nathan Kelser with his girlfriend at that time. Everything seemed to be going well when one night after Damien came home from his first wrestling booking, he found his girlfriend dead in the bathtub with pills scattered everywhere. At this point, Damien began slipping into the occult, becoming a devout Satanist and hurting people just for fun. He would brutally maim his opponents in the ring to make THEM pay for the death of his girlfriend. He then after a few years of dominating the Canadian indy scene, he and the new love of his life, Jodi, moved to Japan where Damien learned the brutal Japanese shoot style from Japanese wrestling legend "Black Dragon" Nobuhiko Okazaki. He became a nearly unbeatable monster in Japan with Jodi, by this time rechristened as Jezebel by promoters in Japan, as his mouthpiece.

After dominating Japan for many years, Edward Raymond called Damien Black to join his fledgling promotion True Talent Wrestling and Damien immediately on arrival embarked on a lengthy winning streak. He was becoming very notorious in the United States as a monster and was almost unbeatable. But tragedy nearly cut Damien's career short when a gasoline can match went horribly wrong with Damien suffering severe burns on his face, upper body, and arms that left him with visible permanent burn scars. Upon his return, he only gained more steam, single-handedly running Lonewolf and Chaos out of TTW, being one of only a few people to ever make Jonny Johnson bleed, and it seemed like Damien was destined to explode in 2005. Damien embarked on a hard-fought and very personal feud with Rocky Stellar that result in an emotional win for Stellar. The aftermath was Damien simply stopped talking to anyone and Jezebel would come in as his mouthpiece, basically making him her personal puppet for destruction as he got a shot at Devastation and despite kicking out of "The Decapitator", Damien fell short in his attempt to be champion. He never could recapture that magic again in TTW and once the company folded, he departed for OPW. Upon arrival, he went on a tear, going through his opposition until another hard-fought loss to Azraith DeMitri.

He once again went into a personal funk and was nearly killed by Harland Delacroix by being locked in a flaming coffin lined with light tubes. At one point during this experience, Damien had legally died and had an out of body experience that gave him an epiphany that everything he had ever believed before was wrong and that he would serve the most high authority instead of serving Satan. As a result of this, Jezebel was forced into slavery as Delacroix's "pet". After several months of no sign from Damien or Jezebel, Damien had emerged in Japan back at the "Black Dragon Dojo" perfecting his craft and working some mixed martial arts matches to add a new dimension to his offense. After a few months, Damien had Jezebel taken from Delacroix and returned to him. While Jezebel has yet to resurface in the business, Damien came back to the business with some "unfinished business".
