Profile Information

Cronos Diamante was born the twenty-sixth of May, nineteen sixty in New York City, New York in The Bronx; affectionately known as “Little Italy” to some. He was born into a family of law enforcement so growing up in what many like to call “a kid’s life” was out of the question. His upbringing hardened him to most everything in the Bronx borough and after nearly two-hundred fights, he established himself as a legitimate tough guy.

When he was sixteen, a long time friend of his, Joey Panico, acting under orders, convinced him to work as an enforcer for the Lucchese family. The job he did, ironically enough, was a perfect off-set for his father who happened to be a Captain on the Police Force; a corrupt one at that. Some of the made men found it a solid move by the underboss at the time Anthony “Gas Pipe” Casso as it would serve to unite his operations in Brooklyn and Queens with The Bronx’s police force. He could now move freely without dealing with a potential shakedown.

On his way home from his eighteenth birthday party, Cronos ran into an Army recruiter and being as drunk as he was, beat him to a bloody mess. When the recruiter looked up at Cronos, after spitting out the blood from his mouth, his question of “Is that all you got, kid?” shocked him enough into helping the man up and walking him home. Unbeknownst to recruiter Derek Kirkwood, Cronos picked his pocket on the way and found the recruiter office the next day. No more than a few days later he informed Casso personally that he would be joining the Army. Casso respected his decision and encouraged it. Cronos’ father; however, didn’t take too kindly to it but he had never cared much for his father’s opinion.

Cronos took his perfect GPA in high school, excelling in his school work despite his hard work and affiliation with the Lucchese family, to West Point. He graduated second in his class but he was not discouraged by the falling short of first; it was still an honor to graduate so high. He was shipped to Fort Belvoir, Virginia for boot camp and official training to be an officer in Army C.I.D. (Criminal Investigations Division.) It was an ironic twist in Cronos’ life to be sure; from criminal to cop. This time; however, Cronos finished training with top honors and was shipped out immediately. He had posts in Germany, Fort Bragg (United States), England and eventually finished his tour of duty at Fort Belvoir where he was trained. He left the Army after twelve years of service with the rank of Major.

Cronos performed odd jobs here and there for the next year in his life, eventually landing a spot with some Mixed Martial Arts combat. During his time in the Army, he was introduced to Martial Arts training such as Judo and Jiu-Jitsu so it was nothing new to him; albeit the intensity and constant training and usage was considered new by a long shot. Despite being at the age of thirty-four, he had taken great care of his body and was very good in the ring.

Soon after he had developed a knack for in-ring fighting, he found a wrestling federation in nineteen ninety-five by the name of NAFWA where he first developed his friendship with long time friends Voodoo and Dave Hawkins. Though throughout his time fighting in what was called “the circle,” he would later run into such men as X-Calibur, Eric Wolfson, Crash, Jake Dominion, Mirage, Chris Turner and Rob Belote.

In “the circle” he was successful at winning mostly tag championships with a few single’s titles in tow. He eventually worked in CEWF for a spell, AODWF for a long time, and a very brief stint in Rob Belote’s SWA. He eventually disappeared of the map and found his way to other federations where he won big with numerous World Championships and Tag Team Championships. He was later rediscovered by another long time friend in Bryan Lucier and brought back to “the circle.” At this time he had cemented friendships with Jake Dominion, Eric Wolfson, Crash, X-Calibur, Mirage, Josh Johnson, Vincent Cash/Mallows, Jonny Johnson and OutKast.

While he enjoyed being in places like AODWF and CEWF, he continued to look elsewhere and one such place he found was DIWF where he ran into such wrestlers like Greyson Blade, Azraith Demitri, Crimson Kidd and to a small degree Adam Davis. He later moved on to help Eric Wolfson, Mike Krankota, and Meioh build the old SHOOT Project that resided in Japan. He spent most of his time there before owner after Mike Krankota; Eric Wolfson handed over the reigns to one Jason Johnson and moved it‘s headquarters and base of operations to Las Vegas, Nevada. He would hang around to win a tag championship with Erik Boyer, form a stable by the name of Ascension with Greyson Blade, Azraith Demitri and Ben Jackman and come and go one too many times until he finally landed himself in Legacy.

Cronos’ first stay in Legacy ended bitterly. He fought his friend Eric Wolfson, a man whom he had trained in a small degree, to a blood soaked draw. He would soon be involved with a vicious man managed by Eric Wolfson by the name Nicholas Creed. As unlucky as he was, Voodoo happened to step in and make it a three-way dance. Cronos left a defeated man by one Nicholas Creed and bitter towards his friend and damn near family member Voodoo as well as one Eric Wolfson whom he has no contact with any longer unfortunately.

But alas he came back to Legacy and although at the age of forty-eight, being slowed down physically and taking a harsher beating by the bumps of professional wrestling, he has not slowed down inside the ring. His reconciliation with Voodoo has helped his in-ring performance through proper training and managing, all orchestrated by his “brother” Voodoo; crazy as he is sometimes. With Voodoo at his side he has gone on to win the No Limits Championship and earned the respect and trust of those who once upon a time would have no earthly reason to do so. He has no plans of leaving any time soon and will be a mainstay in Legacy for a very long time. And he will continue to live by what has now become his credo…

“Honor Above All”
